Conveniently located in the heart of the Steamboat Mountain Village, Emerald Lodge is just a short 5 minute walk (or private shuttle ride in winter) to skiing, restaurants, bars, and shops in Gondola Square. The Silver Bullet Gondola is minutes from your door to give you access to miles of world-class skiing and mountain biking terrain. Or from the condo, enjoy amazing views of the mountains from the living room and balcony while you relax by the fire or while you lounge around the pools and hot tubs.

As our guest, you have access to all that Trappeur's Crossing has to offer, including the day Spa, fitness center, indoor pool & hot tub, 4 outdoor pools, 11 hot tubs, and fire pit and the complimentary Happy Hour held at Trappeur's Crossing just across the street.

OUR CONDO FEATURES (Unit #5204)

Our home provides both luxury accommodations and a great location. Our exceptional four-bedroom, four-bath condo with 2 master bedrooms features a top-of-the-line, fully-equipped kitchen with slab granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances as well as spacious living and dining rooms with a gas fireplace and large private deck complete with mountain views and a private gas grill. Our condo is professionally decorated in hand-crafted, refined mountain style décor.

With 2 master suites complete with luxurious private bathrooms, this condo provides the ideal space for 2 families or large groups. Each of the four bedrooms has its own private, spacious, bathroom and all beds have plush down comforters. All bedrooms are equipped with a flat screen tv, DVD player and stereo with i-pod/MP3 docking station. The master bathroom also has a jetted spa tub. Other amenities include complimentary in-condo high-speed wireless Internet, an in-condo washer and dryer, private ski-lockers, central air-conditioning, on-call private shuttle (winter months) and private heated underground parking.

The Emerald Lodge on-call shuttle will take you from your front door to the Gondola or anywhere else you want to go within the Steamboat city limits, including the grocery store or downtown. The shuttle operates from 7am to 11pm daily during the winter months.

Our Condo #5204 is 2650 square feet with a maximum occupancy of 10 people.

We own and manage this property and it is our own home away from home. Most of our guests are repeat guests, friends and guests via word of mouth. We are proud of our customer service and high standards. When you rent from us, you are not renting just another condo from a large rental pool - you are renting our home. We try to screen our guests to be sure that the property remains platinum level and that our guests take care of our condo as we would when they are there.

What makes this condo unique

Trappeur's Crossing offers 2 weekly complimentary Happy Hours, a fitness center, private on-call shuttle, and multiple pools and hot tubs. You have the ability to use all of these facilities while staying in the quieter, more upscale Emerald Lodge just across the street. It is a short walk to the Gondola in winter and right on the bike path in the summer - the perfect location!

Great Condo for Skiing

We loved our stay here! The condo was well located - easy to get to the mountain, pool/hot tub, and gym. We had 4 couples in our group (two with small kids), and the condo fit our needs perfectly. We walked (6 min) or shuttled (one was magically always waiting) to/from the mountain each day which was very convenient - didn't need a car. The condo was comfortable and well appointed - we cooked dinner in most nights. Check in and check out was a breeze. We'd definitely come back to stay here!

Fabulous condo! Close to everything; very comfortable and spacious; great amenities!

Mark and Amy were great hosts. The condo was just as described. Kitchen was well stocked and the bedrooms had plenty of extra towels and pillows. I had a "senior moment" with the coffee pot but after a quick text they walked me through how to brew a pot. The building is one of several in the same complex. Just across the street in the central administration building are a great sauna, game room and indoor pool (in addition to the pool and hot tub just outside their building). It was about a five minute walk to the ski gondola/lift. There are enough restaurants and shops in the immediate area you never need to have a car or shuttle if you don't mind a short walk.

Great location to walk to the mountain. Nice that it has 4 bathrooms.

The property needs some TLC. Weren’t enough towels for six people staying 4 nights and no laundry detergent to wash them. Needs some of the basics coffee, tea, sugar etc. The owner was nice. The property manager not so much.

Owner's Response: Audrey, We appreciate your comments and value your suggestions. We usually do have coffee and laundry detergent available for our guests and plenty of towels. I am so sorry to see that you felt that this was reason to give us only 3 stars (the only review out of 32 reviews to do so). We pride ourselves on our customer service and our repeat guests. As for TLC, we are aware that the under cabinet light in the kitchen was broken during the stay prior to your arrival and I spoke to you about this personally. We have since repaired it. It is unfortunate with back-to-back stays we were not able to repair it prior to your arrival, but I made every effort to speak with you about this and explain the extenuating circumstance. I apologize if our property manager was upset with you when your group departed late. Please understand it is frustrating for him and his cleaning crew when guests do not abide by the 11am check out time when they need to prepare our condo for new guests arriving the same day. We feel that your experience was an isolated event. We are owners who provide personalized service and really do want to be sure all of our guests have a wonderful stay at our condo in Steamboat. We hope you will consider staying in our condo again when you are in Steamboat.

Great property for our family.

The layout of the condo was perfect for our three generation family. The shuttle service was such a bonus. It made it possible for us to go many directions at once, and to go out in the evening care free. We were surprised that we didn’t use the pools; tired after tubing, skiing, and preparing for and attending a wedding!
