We had an excellent visit. The house is located near the trailheads of four different trails inside Whiterock. It was clean and the kitchen had everything non-food that we needed for dinner and breakfast. It was great to getaway from everything. If we really needed cell service, (which we didn’t) we found that there was a signal just 50 yards up the hill behind the house. The SoloStove worked great for hotdogs and s’mores. We look forward to our next visit!
We three artists spent an afternoon and night at the Woodland Carriage House. The land itself is inspiring. There is an intense sense of peace, something we needed. (We would love to return to spend a week making art at the River House which would offer more private spaces--- but I do not know if that house can be rented.)
My family and I stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. It was stocked with everything we needed besides the food we brought. The kayaks/canoes are rented separately, and then it's a short walk across the street to get to them. There are several gorgeous hiking trails nearby it was nice to be able to grill out and have a fire pit. The cabin was very comfortable for sleeping and the table was perfect for playing board games together. We would love to stay again sometime! Thanks!
