A vibrant neighborhood
It's a quaint apartment in a lively and vibrant neighborhood across from Centre Pompidou. The flat is nice and quiet when the windows are closed. There are a lot of restaurants surrounding the building, so it can be a party atmosphere at night. However, once you close the windows it's quiet. We would have leisurely breakfasts in the flat. Although there is a two burner surface stove and a microwave, the kitchen is minuscule and not really appropriate for cooking. The refrigerator is nice and appropriate for the flat and works well to keep cheese, fruit and lettuce fresh. The flat does have a real bed. We have done apartment rentals before in Paris and have been tricked into a couch bed or futon. This doesn't work well for two tall people and if you are staying more than a week, you must have a real bed.
