Stunning lake home located close to Oaklawn and all of Hot Springs attractions.
Master Suites (Queen Beds) on opposite ends of the house to ensure maximum privacy. There is a third bedroom (Double Bed) next to the hall bathroom and shower. And, in the front great room there is a Futon (Full Bed) that is the perfect place to curl up and read a book, or chat with friends in the afternoon AND it can double as a great place for the kids to sleep at night. The home comfortably sleeps six adults and two children.
This 2700 square foot home is designed to wrap you in the warmth of beautiful stained hardwoods nestled against floor to ceiling glass windows. The picturesque view of the tree lined lot gently sloping to the water’s edge is magnificent.
The large, mostly covered porch overlooking the lake is perfect for relaxing with your family and friends. If you enjoy chillin' in the shade on a hot afternoon, it’s the perfect setting. Or if you relish soaking up the sunshine or gazing up at the night sky, the patio extension is your key to happiness.
A double hammock big enough for two is a perfect way to stretch out and gently swing in the breeze under the trees.
A gorgeous flagstone patio by the lake offers a view toward the main channel, but the coziness of the bay is the real attraction. The patio is flanked by a swimming platform and a private boat dock (our boat is not available to rent) which forms a nice protected area for the kids to swim safely. We have cleats and buoys on the lakeside of the boat dock if you bring your own boat. Hill Wheatley Park is about 6 miles from the house, it is the closest place with a boat ramp.
Your getaway home is located on the East side of Lake Hamilton which allows you to enjoy the beauty of lake life while still being close to all the wonderful things Hot Springs has to offer. It is less than a ten-minute drive to Oaklawn Park and Casino, groceries, the Mall and restaurants. And Historic Downtown Hot Springs is an easy drive down Central Avenue.
All bedrooms and baths have comfortable bedding and towels. And there are some great beach/lake towels for your adventures in the water. Each bedroom also has a large television with Apple TV for your favorite shows or sporting events.
The home has all the conveniences you are looking for in a getaway at the lake. A walk thru kitchen, wireless internet, a dining table that seats 6, a breakfast nook that seats 4, and an old family piano that may be a bit out of tune, but it matches the owner’s voice….
On the porch, there is a 30-inch flat griddle for cooking everything from pancakes and bacon to great burgers or steaks. It is hooked up to natural gas, so you never run out of gas in the middle of that perfect steak. A custom-built wood bar is located next to the griddle with two bar stools so your friends can enjoy beverages while you are creating masterpieces on the grille.
You can savor your griddle creations around an outdoor table with seating for 6. Afterwards, you can relax around a gorgeous copper fire pit ensuring you don't have to miss out on the delights of the outdoors on those cool lake nights.
