Confortable maison de trois chambres à coucher, avec de superbes vues panoramiques sur le lac et les collines. Cuisine moderne entiÚrement équipée avec four et réfrigérateur neufs, cuisine / salon / salle à manger à aire ouverte. La cuisine a des installations complÚtes (four / micro-ondes / lave-vaisselle). Lounge a DVD et TNT TV. Grande terrasse avec table, chaises et barbecue à gaz ou transats à l'extérieur (rangements dans le garage). 2 kayaks disponibles à utiliser. Jeux, livres, cartes et puzzles disponibles. La chambre principale a un lit King, la 2Úme chambre a 2 lits superposés (4 personnes) et le 3Úme lit a 2 lits simples - pouvant accueillir 8 personnes, ou pouvant en accueillir 10 si vous utilisez le canapé-lit dans le salon. Duvets, couvertures et oreillers fournis - Apportez vos serviettes, draps et taies d'oreiller s'il vous plaßt. Des couvertures électriques sur tous les lits et des radiateurs à huile. Beaucoup de stationnement pour les voitures. Et maintenant, grùce à une nouvelle tour de téléphonie cellulaire, la couverture téléphonique.

We loved our stay at the Lake House! Such a great place to relax and unwind. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. Sally had great communication and made everything easy from start to finish. We had a fantastic family getaway and can't wait to come back one day!

Perfect Spot

We stayed at Sally's place to attend a wedding at Black Barn. Location was great, house clean and tidy and communication with Sally was a breeze. Would happily recommend and stay again in the future.

Warm and cosy during a cold Easter spell!

We love magical Tarawera, and your house was the perfect getaway for our family to come home to after mountain biking. Beautiful walks around the lake and a great selection of board games. Clean, warm and cosy!

Getaway for sons wedding

Great spot

A few nights stay to try out Lake Tarawera. Awesome spot and equally awesome bach. Is as described and had room to park and turn our boat. We'll definitely be returning soon.

A lovely, relaxing spot

We had a wonderful stay at Sallys place. I stayed there with my parents and two young children (age 3 years and 1 year). The place was clean and tidy, equipped with lots of toys and games and everything you need in the kitchen.Lake Tarawera was a beautiful and calming spot, perfect for our weekend away.Thank you so much for having us.

Amazing house, incredible location!

Great family Christmas.

Three generations of our family gathered at Tarawera for six days. The weather was excellent . Xmas lunch was a picnic at the reserve. This house is extremely well equiped with all cleaning products and consumables.Sally [owner] was very good to deal with and hopefully she would let us have her house again if we repeat.

Waitangi weekend stay at Fishermans retreat

Fantastic! Loved the batch fabulous view of the lake from the large deck, kitchen had everything that we needed with lots of little extras that you don't normally get in short term rentals. Communication and information about the batch and local amenities was excellent. Fantastic to be provided with a rubbish bag for free rubbish disposal at the near by transfer station. Good layout and plenty of room for a family of 5 adults

Great weekend!

Thanks so much for a fabulous stay, we really enjoyed the house, it was perfect for our needs. Our teenage kids loved it, there were two families of 4 and the house was great for us. Close to the lake and boat ramp. Great outdoor and BBQ area for sundowner drinks. Well equipped kitchen and lounge area with lovely lake outlook. Highly recommend, would love to come back another time!

Week summer break

This was our 2nd time staying in Sally’s lovely Bach. It is clean, comfortable, with everything you need. The view is beautiful. There is plenty of outside space for cars and boats. A lovely big deck for socialising outside. Near the boat ramp. On a lovely quiet street. The beds are very comfortable too which is so lovely when wanting to really recuperate after a busy year and Xmas season. Would definitely stay there again.

Neat spot, fabulous holiday home

One of the best holiday houses we've stayed at. Spacious, amazing deck and view, with a well-equipped kitchen, it made for an easy stay. There's a walkway across the road that leads down to the lake, so the location was perfect. It's a steep driveway but we worked out how to best park the boat (up the top), and there was plenty of room for other vehicles down below. Our kids loved the board games and kayaks so it's well set up, even on rainy days. We loved our stay at this bach, and we'll be back!

Beautiful spot! Perfect Family Bach.

We had a lovely stay for a long weekend as we were attending a wedding at The Black Barn. The house was perfect for this as it was super close to the venue. The house was tidy, lots of room, and felt very homey. We had everything we needed. Such a beautiful spot, and our toddler loved spending time at the house and the lake. Check in and communication with Sally and Bruce was super easy. Would definitely recommend for anybody after a nice peaceful weekend in this area â˜ș

Bruce and Sally have owned this property since their 3 girls were young. We have spent many happy family hours here, playing games after dinner and spending daylight hours playing in and on the lake.
Bruce has always loved fishing and Sally is learning to fish now that the girls are grown up. Sally loves to walk along the lakeside.
We live about 2 hours away from the property and enjoy going for the weekend for the peace and quiet that the lake offers us.

Over the past few years we have been renovating the property and now have double glazing, insulation through the roof, underfloor and external walls, new bathroom and new toilet with new curtains throughout. We have recently installed a water filtration system so you can now drink the water direct from the tap.
