We had 6 adults and 3 children 4 years and under. The house was better than expected! It had everything we needed and most importantly was very clean! Great sunset views and a yard that was fenced for the kids! The location was perfect and everyone in Bay Creek was friendly and helpful! The house is on the Marina side of Bay Creek which made it more accessible to the downtown of Cape Charles. We also were able to use the golf side of Bay Creek which was great- pool, beach, golf and a restaurant that delivers to the pool! All in all a 10! Would highly recommend! Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Really great setup for two families. The golf carts and stand up paddle boards were a huge hit. Rooms were all nice and accommodating. Great views of the Cape Charles Lighthouse and kids enjoyed scooting around the quiet streets in the private neighborhood. We would definitely go back and stay here again!

This was the best home rental experience I've ever had. The house was fully stocked -- with everything you could possibly want. Very clean, a truly spectacular location if you have a golf cart. The hosts thought of everything. Board games galore, internet that actually allows you to stream. And what a perk to have access to kayaks and a paddle board -- the kids and adults loved giving them a go on the private beach. I cannot recommend this location enough. A MUST STAY!

The house was spacious and comfortable, very tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. There were even spices and coffees and teas with two types of coffee makers. My family really enjoyed the foosball table, there were new games set out in in the living room, which my kids loved, my husband enjoyed riding the bikes that were in the garage, and we walked down the street to the little private beach every day. The views of the bay from the front window and the crows nest were lovely. The sunsets at the private beach were amazing. It’s a great house that someone has put a lot of thought into! It was also so nice that we could bring our dogs on this trip. The town had a number of cool little shops and several great restaurants. There was a Food Lion close by and the barbecue restaurant near it had good food. The communication with Blue Heron was very easy and Summer answered any questions I had. We would absolutely stay at Tranquil Tides again!

House exceeded our expectations in terms of both decor and amenities (double fridge, beach chairs, ample supply of beach towels, beach wagon, beach umbrellas). Sunsets from the back deck simply couldn't be beat. There is beach access directly behind the house, but it's not ideal for swimming. We really enjoyed visiting the quiet private beach at Bay Creek and would have loved to have taken advantage of their beach services if the weather had cooperated (free chair and umbrella set up Fri, Sat & Sun). Suggestions for improvement include providing at least one non-stick cookware pan and extra blankets for the beds.

We had such a wonderful stay. This was our first time in Cape Charles and we now understand why everyone loves it so much. This house was perfect for our family and the layout worked really well. Everything is brand new and clean and the house is very well appointed. There wasn't anything that we needed that they didn't have. We loved our mornings on the beach and afternoons by the pool. Thanks for a lovely stay, we hope to be back soon!
