Beautiful Lake Carlos 3-bedroom, 2-bath property with walk-out basement. Lots of sunshine and a great back yard with plenty of space. Open floor plan kitchen, living and dining. Deck with views of the lake and gorgeous sunsets. Newly renovated exterior in May 2023, with interior updates. 100 feet of nearly level lake shore with access to the Alexandria Chain of Lakes. Quiet neighborhood. Great for relaxing by the water!up

Wonderful stay!

We loved our time here! It was the perfect spot for our family to get together and enjoy the lake for Labor Day weekend. Leslie was so responsive and accommodating. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend!

Hockey weekend

We stayed at this house with another family when in town for a hockey tournament - it was super comfortable and had everything we needed! Great view and super peaceful! Way better option than a hotel!

Owners were great to work with. Always responded right away on anything. Lake Carlos was a great lake to stay on and connected to the Alexandria chain of lakes.

Amazing Stay

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The outside and inside all was freshly redone. Still doing some updates to the basement but still very nicely put together. Perfect size for four adults and three children. The neighbors were beyond friendly. Perfect size yard for games. The lake was clean and shallow for the kiddos to play in. I couldn't of asked for anything more for our little get away.

Mini-Vacation

A friend from Nebraska had a conference for her job at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria, so we decided to rent a house on a lake, and she brought her husband and two kids. My husband brought his fishing boat, we rented a pontoon one day, had a fire and made s'mores in the fire pit on the patio by the lake. The kids went swimming off the dock, and suntanned on the deck. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing time. The beds were comfortable, and when the kids got tired of the adults, they could go downstairs, (the basement is finished, with a fireplace, T. V., couch, etc. We had a couple of questions shortly after we arrived, and the owners were very receptive and helpful. If we were ever to vacation in Alexandria in the future, we would definitely consider this house again.

Nice cabin close to alexandria

We stayed the weekend, great for bigger groups, with a nice big yard and . The fireplace was great down by the lake.

The property was beautiful and was perfect for what we were in town for. Close to the wedding venue at Adler Ranch made us so easy to come and go!

Fantastic

This place was amazing! Tucked in off a point on Lake Carlos. The water in front of the property was crystal clear and always calm. The yard was perfect for playing bean bag toss, bocce ball and other yard games. I loved the access to other lakes with my boat. The place was clean and easily hosted all 8 of us in attendance. The only thing that I would fix is the sliding door off the dining room was a pain to open and close and there was no light source in the living room. Minor inconveniences for a stellar lake place!

Great location

We had a great time playing in the yard with the kids, fishing, and hiking at the state park just 10 minutes away. It was great to get away but also be close enough to Alexandria to run in to pick up a couple of things here and there. The owner was very easy to work with and shared good check in instructions. No issues at all.

Family Memories Achieved!

My husband and I rented it to have a week at the lake (which was wonderful) with our two adult daughters and their husbands and kids. There were 9 of us. Six adults and a 2, 3, and 6 year old. We all slept great! Beds are very comfortable and there is a complete living area downstairs as well along with a walkout onto a patio area under the deck. The yard is wonderful for games and area to spread out. The dock was fun and easy to dock our rented pontoon to. Swimming was great there. The two sliding doors on the main level need some work. We didn’t use the one off of the dining area because we could barely open it. The slider in the living area only opened a few feet and required an adult to pull it open. The access below was much easier so we used that more often. Communication with the owners was great. We had a problem with the oven initially and because repair appointments were out a few weeks they came right away with a brand new oven and installed it ASAP. Thank you! Everything was terrific and we would highly recommend it!

Beautiful Property

This property has a lot to offer! The place is clean with plenty of yard space, comfortable housing, ample parking, and thoughtful touches. The property owners responded in a timely manner whenever we asked questions. We loved that the dock was long and would allow for more than one boat and the living room furniture in the house was arranged providing a view of the lake. There were many rooms with beautiful lake views!!

Memorial Day Getaway

Property is gorgeous. The view of the lake is exceptional and well worth the drive and planning. We could not have asked for better hosts. From day one our hosts made us feel welcome. There were plenty of necessities supplied, and a clean kitchen and bathroom upon arrival. Our hosts allowed us to use the water toys, and we enjoyed a relaxing few days on the lake. We got what we were looking for a great, quiet vacation away. It was amazing. We thank the hosts for their generosity, and kindness. We would certainly recommend.

Extended Family trip

Positives: Great location on Lake Carlos with dock Great view of the lake from the house, deck and patio The house and yard were very clean Nice neighborhood and was an easy drive to Alexandria The host, Leslie, answered all my questions in a timely manner Neutral: The house does have a small footprint with the bedrooms not overly big. The kitchen and dining area wasn't overly spacious but it was suitable for the 5 adults in our group. The house is a nice size for either 2 couples or 1 family with kids. The house did need a few repairs but nothing that negatively impacted our stay. There was a hole in the wall in the dining area, the kitchen window frame was coming apart, the patio doors were very tough to slide open and close, and the heat didn't seem to work in the bedroom in the basement. Thanks Leslie!

This was a great location for our family vacation!

Leslie was extremely responsive to our questions while at the property. The house was very clean and a great size for our group! The lake is as super clear - and would have been amazing had it not been for so much wind. But we made the best of it and enjoyed the beautiful views from all over the property.

Relaxing and restorative

We loved staying at this place. We had 4 adult friends there and there was adequate areas for us to have our own space or gather together. The view was beautiful indoors our outside that even if it was raining and stuck inside it didn't matter. There was shade for most of the morning and then later in the afternoon so that you could be outside in the yard and not be so warm in the sun. The place was well equipped. The hosts were available if we needed anything. They brought us wood for a fire. We hope to return next year!

Girls weekend!

We had an amazing and relaxing girls weekend! This property was perfect for 5 of us. Their were wonderful sleeping accommodations and the beds were so comfy! The kitchen table looked right out to the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed! We will be renting this again in the summer!

Perfect place

We rented this property 5 years ago to attend a wedding. Get place to gather. Plenty of room and beautiful view. Brought our boat to go fishing - dock was nice and boat lift was included. Came back this fall with group of nine. The home was clean and nicely furnished to accommodate 9 people. We will go back there again.
