Welcome to Highland Haven, your cute, cozy mountain getaway at the base of the Cape Breton Highlands!
This comfortable retreat sits on a quarter-acre property surrounded by breathtaking scenery and is less than a 5-minute drive to the Highland National Park entrance, the Gypsum Mine Trail, Aucoin’s Bakery (the best bakery on the island!), beaches, and all the charm of Cheticamp. After a day of exploring, unwind in the warmth of this peaceful haven.
For snow seekers, it is located on a quiet road that leads directly to the snowmobile trail system, you can ride straight from the property and connect to miles of groomed routes throughout the Highlands National Park.
Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers, easy access to the Cabot Trail, and a DOG FRIENDLY policy make Highland Haven ideal for year round exploration. Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please wash your dishes before you leave.
If you use the BBQ please clean the grill and empty the drip tray. An extra cleaning fee of $50 will be charged if the BBQ is left dirty.
Place your trash in the bin out front.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
