Born and raised in Cheticamp, I was happy to move back home during covid after two years of being away at university. I never imaged being back home this early on in my life, but I wouldn't have wanted it any other way looking back! Once I moved home, I launched a bookkeeping business that lead me to the rental world. I manage long term and short term rentals since 2022. It had always been a dream of mine to have my own place, which became reality in the fall of 2025. I love communicating with the guests, giving them tips and recommendations on the area.
Why they chose this property
After being a property manager for several years, I know that location plays a huge factor in a short term rental. Résidence Bourgeois is at the perfect spot in town, walkable distance to just about everything and has the gorgeous view of the wharf. Not many houses in town are on the water side, so I count myself very lucky to have bought a house at this perfect location.
What makes this property unique
Résidence Bourgeois has been fully renovated in the fall of 2025 and I put all my effort into decorating it. Something that makes my house special is that all the art and decoration in the house are made by local artists or purchased locally. I handpicked all the wall art from artists around our province which makes it special. Also, the location is very unique, being steps away from the wharf.
