Boardwalk Pines at Tobermory
Welcome to your private getaway, where comfort meets nature. Nestled in a tranquil setting just 2 minutes (1.4km) from Tobermory. Boardwalk Pines is a unique and peaceful retreat perfect for families, couples, or small groups looking to experience the beauty of the Bruce Peninsula in style. Experience the property's breathtaking boardwalk—an unforgettable path from the main cottage through the forest that opens onto a private cliffside deck with panoramic views of several islands.
THE PROPERTY:
Originally built in 1926 and thoughtfully updated, this charming Tobermory cottage blends timeless character with modern comfort. Tucked into a peaceful, forested setting just two minutes from downtown, the property features a 3-bedroom main cottage and a separate forest cabana — perfect for families, couples, or adventurers looking to unwind and explore.
The main cottage offers an open-concept living area with cozy couches, a full kitchen stocked with essentials, a spacious dining table, and one main floor bathroom. Upstairs, you’ll find two bright bedrooms — one with a king, the other with a queen — while the third bedroom on the main level includes a double bed for added convenience.
Connected via a breezeway, the forest cabana provides the ultimate hangout zone. Upstairs, kick back with a movie, take a nap, or enjoy some quiet meditation in a plush, private setting. Downstairs, the cabana features a second bathroom, a bar fridge, and a playroom — great for grabbing drinks, entertaining kids with games and movies, or relaxing while keeping an eye on the outdoor fire pit area.
NOTABLE FEATURES:
- Sleeps up to 8 guests
- 3 Bedrooms in main cottage
- Private forest cabana with lounge and playroom
- 2 Bathrooms (1 in main cottage, 1 in cabana)
- Fully equipped kitchen with essentials

We’re happy to welcome one well-behaved dog (max 65 lbs) during your stay! A $75 additional cleaning fee will apply. Please ensure pets are kept off furniture and cleaned up after—thank you for helping us keep the space fresh for all guests.
OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES:
Nature takes centre stage here. Step onto your private forested boardwalk, which leads to a cliffside deck overlooking turquoise waters. Muskoka chairs and a dining area (with propane fire table) make this the perfect spot for morning coffees, sunset meals, or stargazing into the night.
