Vacation on beautiful Haliburton Lake!!

There are a couple of points I’d like to address and clarify. The cottage you stayed at is tucked away and nestled in the trees, contains it’s own deck with a picnic table and a contained fire pit with chairs that is situated in front of beach. Morning coffee or evening fire this space is private. Both deck and fire pit are completely out of view for your own privacy. You do not share this area with anyone else. The second cottage is secluded as well. Only 2 cottages are available as rentals including the one you stayed at. When you visited, the second cottage had a very small group compared to your party (that included additional guests that were not identified at booking which we let you have at no charge.) We are proud to offer a full dock and deck systems situated in the middle of the property for all our guests. Both large docks are not attached to any cottage. For guests only. At the far end of the property, there is an open space on the lake that boasts a much larger fire pit for those who would like to experience a “Bonfire” experience under the stars. This fire pit is totally isolated from any other space on the property. We do not agree with your interpretation and neither do almost all the guests that come here. I wonder if you were on the same property. If you are on the lake people will see you! We strive to ensure all our guests have a good experience. We added another dock to the dock system to serve as a second activity centre on the water.
