Welcome to your lake escape in Fishing Point, where every stay is about slowing down, making memories, and enjoying the best of Lake Macquarie. From morning coffees on the balcony watching the sun sparkle on the water, to evenings in the heated spa under the stars, this home is designed for unforgettable family getaways.
With a private jetty, you can spend the day fishing with the kids, launching your boat for a lakeside adventure, or simply watching the pelicans and boats glide past. Families will love the choice of activities – from a friendly Wii tournament in the main lounge, to movie marathons in the rumpus room, to BBQ feasts enjoyed together on the balcony overlooking the lake.
The large, open spaces make it easy for everyone to come together. Gather for shared meals in the 12-seat dining room, enjoy outdoor dining with plenty of room for adults and kids, or let the children explore while parents relax in peace.
After a day of adventure, retreat to the spacious bedrooms designed to sleep up to 10 guests comfortably. With multiple living areas, two BBQs, and a heated outdoor spa, there’s something here for every generation to enjoy.
Beyond the home, the lake is your playground – whether it’s fishing, boating, kayaking, or exploring the nearby Balmoral Boat Ramp. For those who prefer to take it slow, simply sit back, breathe in the fresh lakeside air, and watch the ever-changing views from the comfort of your balcony.

- Boat hire and speed boat adventures as well as a boat ramp just 900m away

The house can sleep up to 10 people
All bedrooms are large & spacious including built in wardrobes and fans for air circulation
Bed 1 - 1 x King Sized Bed and 1 Single
Bed 2 - 1 x Queen Sized Bed
Bed 3 - 2 x Double and 2 Singles

Bedding Configuration can sleep up to 6 people in individual beds and maximum 10 guests total.

No Party & Noise Policy:
We uphold a strict no-party and low-noise policy as mandated by NSW Short-Term Rental Accommodation legislation and local council regulations. The property is in a residential zone. Excessive noise, parties, or inappropriate behaviour may result in eviction, police involvement, and/or additional charges. We aim to offer a peaceful stay for all guests and our neighbours.
Guest Numbers & Visitors:
The number of guests listed on your booking represents the maximum allowed on the property at any time, including visitors.
Visitors may be permitted upon written request and approval. For example, having a couple of family members visit for lunch is generally acceptable; however, hosting large gatherings without approval is not. We are happy to accommodate reasonable requests where possible, in line with house rules and capacity limits.
If additional guests are detected who are not booked or agreed to, you will be charged an extra guest fee and may be subject to eviction for the guest. This is a requirement of the NSW Govt Code of Conduct, which has financial penalties for you and the Owner if not followed.
Pet Policy:
- Pets are welcome at this property, provided guests agree to our pet guidelines prior to arrival:
- You must let us know you are planning to bring a pet upon booking.
- A pet bond and waiver will apply to your booking.
- Guests must bring their own pet bedding, food bowls, and waste disposal bags.
- Pets are not permitted on any furniture, carpets, rugs, beds, or bedding, both inside and outside the home.
- Pets must never be left unattended indoors. They should remain under guest supervision at all times.
- Guests are responsible for their pet’s behavior and safety, including any interactions with wildlife, neighboring pets, or livestock.
- Any pet-related damage or breach of these rules may result in deductions from the security bond.
Security Cameras & Noise Monitoring:
For security and compliance, the property is equipped with two external cameras, currently monitoring the driveway and front entrance only.
A noise monitoring device is also installed. Guests must not tamper with or disable this device. Penalties apply for interference, as these systems help us comply with the NSW STR Code of Conduct and maintain a safe environment for all guests.
Guest Registration & ID Verification:
Prior to arrival, all guests must complete an online registration form and provide valid photo identification (e.g., driver’s licence or passport). The lead guest will also need to submit names and contact numbers for all party members, to ensure we can reach someone in case of an emergency. This information is securely deleted after your stay. Access to the property will only be granted once guest verification is completed.
Travel Insurance Recommendation:
We highly recommend guests obtain domestic travel insurance to cover unexpected changes or cancellations. This can be especially helpful for issues like event cancellations, illness (including Covid), or other unforeseen disruptions. For peace of mind, consider providers like Cover-More, Travel Insurance Direct.
