This home also comes with a full 2-car over-sized garage & parking. Formal dining table for 8 in as well as a breakfast nook with informal dining that seats an additional 6, plus seating for 3 at kitchen bar. Wet bar upstairs with fridge and sink, a library collection with hundreds of books...guests love this house!

Beautiful Home

We stayed in the cottage looking Home the Princess Bellagio. It was well kept, spotless and adorable. It was right in the heart of the city but when you got behind the wall that was lined with trees, it was completely private! There was tons of parking and the yard was amazing, my family loved our stay and wished we could have stayed longer!!

An Amazing Place to Stay!!

My experience with the Princess Bellagio was that it is a beautiful home with classic architecture and stunning landscaping. Both inside and out it felt inviting and comfortable. It was large enough that we weren’t on top of each other, but small enough that my family felt together and connected. Every room had a television and the most comfortable beds for my family to enjoy watching movies on. The house is wonderfully located and is easily accessible to many attractions, we were able to visit Lagoon Amusement Park and mountain bike in Corner Canyon within a 25-minute drive of the Princess. The backyard was spacious and beautiful, we enjoyed many nights out there, enjoying the scenery. The front yard had wonderful character and landscaping, when we drove up, it felt as though we were in a movie. It was a great place for a family trip and everyone loved being there! It was a phenomenal place to stay and had so many benefits, but the best were how similar it felt to staying at my own house and how clean it was, it was a dream.

Not what we thought

We thought the pictures were deceiving. This house is in a residential area, the backyard looks into the neighboring backyard and is separated by a cemented ditch. The house is directly off of a major street and it quite noisy with traffic. We had 13 people staying at the house and guest house and it was cramped. I'm not sure how they imagined 20 people could fit. I wish i had better things to say about the house because it looks gorgeous from the outside. The decor is older 1990's and the kitchen appliances are very old, microwave, dishwasher stove etc. The kitchen wasn't well stocked. There were a few spices in the drawer and not nearly enough cooking utensils, measuring cups etc. Also, we didn't realize that this is someone's permanent home some of the closet space is unusable because they are locked as well as the wardrobe in the main bedroom. One of the strangest things is that master bedroom doesn't have a bathroom door (this is the same in the guest house). There is a small loft that looks down onto the bathroom and straight at the glass door shower. Absolutely no privacy unless you lock the bedroom door. Although the house was clean, it didn't feel clean. The carpets were stained and the furniture was old and worn. I also had to replace a bunch of lightbulbs before our guests came and there were still lights out in the vaulted ceiling. The heater made an incredible howling noise the first few nights we were there, we joked there was a ghost. A few days later the heater quit working, a handyman came to fix it right away and it was working again by the afternoon. The extra fridge in the garage also didn't work. We hosted a women's retreat at the house and although the house grew on us, there just wasn't enough space for 13 adults and we felt like our creekside chateau was more of a residential house with an irrigation ditch in the backyard. We did love the dining room and were able to seat all 13 women at the table. We also loved the extra kitchen prep and storage space in the laundry/mud room. This might be better suited for a family rental because of the close proximity and little privacy. I think with a little updating and some other thoughtful changes this could be an awesome place if you want to be in the city.

Owner's Response: We appreciate your feedback and would like to respond to some of your concerns. We reevaluated the kitchen, picked up some extra supplies. We have gotten the carpets cleaned. We have taken a look at your specific concerns and have taken actions to remedy them. We added extra supplies, took inventory on spices, which we don't normally provide, but our intention was to offer an additional amenity. This home is an open floor plan as seen in the photos available to all potential guests before booking. This home is one of our most popular properties. The water running through the property is regulated by the city. Each fall the water levels are turned low to protect from flooding. The water levels during their stay were low. This is unavoidable by owners. The creek is a natural creek that meanders between large mature trees in a beautiful setting.
