Thank you Karen! I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again soon! C
Great spot near Lake Wenatchee halfway between Leavenworth and Stevens Pass for skiing. Large upstairs bedroom with 3 bunkbeds for kids, two good sized bedrooms downstairs, could easily have a couple families there. Open dining/kitchen area was great to have dinner and be able to see out into the front yard. We had campfires both nights we stayed, there was a good bundle of kindling and wood on the porch.

Hello Bjorn,
Thank you for the great review and i am very glad you enjoyed your stay. It is especially nice to hear how you enjoyed the large upstairs living area with the 3 bunks, upstairs queen bed and sitting and play area in addition to the separate cozy TV loft and bathroom. I LOVE your comment on the view during dining and I hope memories were made during those night time campfires. Hoping to see you all again! - C
We had an amazing stay. The host was available when we checked in and cut us up on all the little ins and outs. It was incredibly peaceful and warm and cozy by the fireplace while we were able to look out at the snowfield yard. As we pulled away we were thinking about how much we were going to miss the home. I hope to get up there again next year.

About the host
Your host
I enjoy being a host to better share our beautiful space set in the scenic mountainous and lake region just up valley from Leavenworth, Wa. The leisure and recreational opportunities that Leavenworth and surrounding areas is... profound. The opportunity to share it with friends and family and assist with creating those forever memories and perhaps even ongoing traditions is...lucky. Growing up I did quite a bit of traveling to visit family in Europe as well as work and vacation trips across the U.S. But now I recognize that often times the "Easter Egg" is right out the door and in your own backyard. Hosting gives me the opportunity to share not just the Leavenworth area that i love and have known for 20+ years but the experiences that come with it that I love: hiking, biking, skiing, cross country skiing, wing foiling, paddleboarding, pickleballing, and more.
Why they chose this property
As the original owner, Cabin Time was built in the heart of this huge outdoor recreational area, situated halfway between Leavenworth and Steven's Pass Ski Resort. Minutes from Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake. The 2 hr. commute from Seattle to the cabin makes it especially easy to get away and enjoy some sun and hotter dryer weather during Seattle's spring and early summer. As much as we enjoy the property in the summer, one of our favorite winter memories was of fantastic skiing with the kiddos and friends; Leavenworth site seeing and wine tasting; and innertubing Ski Hill. Especially during cabin downtime, smile thinking about not being able to pull the kiddos away from their snow forts, cozy football games on the TV, board games and books, walks and the hot tub. Throw in a snow ball fight and good game of cards... Overall, it is a getaway that is easy to enjoy. Even for grandparents and families with a loaded down SUV. Unload in minutes with an all level lot with plenty of parking and start that vacation!
What makes this property unique
The property is unique in that it is close to town (just 25 minutes from Leavenworth downtown) but up valley in the heart of the Lake Wentachee and Fish Lake Recreational area. The property itself is nestled just one block from Lake Wenatchee and faces Dirty Face Mountain. The view each morning from the front porch is astounding. The lot is private with the next home to the north side. of the property. The wide and 'L' shaped all level lot and driveway makes for easy use and parking for all recreational gear and rigs.
Dirty Face Mountain trailhead is just 1.5 miles away. Wild flowers, waterfall, and incredible view!
