Kookaburra Lodge houses the village spa, a gym, Sun Peaks best restaurant and is across the road from the Sun Peaks Sports Complex with its NHL-size ice rink, summer operated swimming pool and tennis courts.

Ski Week February 2023

The property fit our extended family (6 adults and 4 kids) perfectly. Views were/are spectacular and access to the village excellent. Ski-Out and Ski-In do require a small bit of walking, but is not at all difficult. Ski storage on the first floor is smart and appropriate to keep the gear out of the unit. The unit is very spacious and the "extra sitting area" became a great spot for the kids to gather while the adults were in the "living area". All the hooks for coats, etc. in the hallway under helmet "cubicles" is brilliant. Parking Garage is tight both for car width and height (no SkyBoxes on the cartops), but convenient. View of the Ice rink across the street was a source of never ending entertainment (and open skating periods were hilarious for our non-skating group). If it's available when next we visit Sun Peaks as a family, I've NO doubt we'll look to book the property again.

Amazing

An amazing experience was provided by the owners. The location is ideal for those that want the ski and social of Sun Peaks. The penthouse is a spectacular unit with all the amenities provided. This was the best VRBO experience we have ever had. We will be back!

Wonderful Place - great for families

Awesome location and amazing layout which makes family gatherings with multiple age groups very manageable! We loved our stay here and will absolutely be back. Excellent location a quick walk to the village, across the street from the skating rink and a HUGE amount of storage in the unit.

Why they chose this property

We came to Sun Peaks for a ski holiday and fell in love with it. We've been lucky enough to come back every year since we first came and have made lots of friends with the local Sun Peaks residents who are great fun.

What makes this property unique

We like having friends stay with us and entertaining our local friends. With 2 large living areas with great views, 2 private decks with BBQ and hot tub it's the perfect vacation condo.
