Welcome to L'Atelier de notre Grand-Père! Come and stay in this characterful accommodation for 6 people. Ideally located close to the German border, the Rhine and Colmar, everything you need for a pleasant stay. The accommodation comprises a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a terrace with a Jacuzzi for relaxing in the sun. Bed linen and towels provided.

Opened in 2021, after more than a year's work, with the family's history as the starting point and the farm workshop built in 1929 that had to be completely rehabilitated, enlarged and fitted out. Isabelle & Anne-Sophie offer you all the comforts you need for an ideal stay!

The accommodation
All on one level, the house is laid out as follows:

Day area:
- Living room with corner sofa, armchair, connected TV.
- Open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen: oven, dishwasher, hob, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, crockery and cutlery, dining area for 6.
- Fitted laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, storage, vacuum cleaner.

Sleeping area
- Bedroom 1: queen-size bed (160 cm x 200 cm) with private bathroom with walk-in shower and WC.
- Bedroom 2: queen-size double bed (160 cm x 200 cm).
- Bedroom 3: two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm), which can be joined to form a king-size bed (180 cm x 200 cm).
- Shared bathroom with walk-in shower.
- Separate WC.

Exterior:
- Beautiful south-facing terrace with garden furniture, deckchairs, barbecue, HotSpring Jacuzzi for 6 people, accessible and heated all year round. The property is screened off from the courtyard.
- Individual courtyard with private parking for two to three vehicles, including an electric vehicle charging station, and a 30 m² lawn area. The whole is private and delimited by a property wall.
The attached garage is available for storage of roof boxes, motorcycles, bicycles or other items.

Nearby amenities
The property is very close to the German border, the Rhine and its tourist and cultural attractions. You're also just a few kilometers from Colmar. Bakery and supermarkets 2 km away. Numerous shops nearby, as well as a gym and bowling alley less than 200 m away.

Activities
For your outings, leisure activities and visits, there are numerous excursions available in the immediate area, including the Vauban city of Neuf-Brisach, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Rhine, its canals and cycling routes (including the Eurovélo 15, 300 m away), Germany, the town of Breisach and the surrounding vineyards. The Kaiserstuhl, the German home of mountain biking and hiking. Nearby, Colmar, the Alsatian vineyards, Europa Park and Freiburg in Germany, as well as numerous tourist and cultural sites. After a break in the heart of the Massif Vosgien, set off to discover the Route des Vins, a mythical itinerary that invites you to the most beautiful discoveries! One thing's for sure, whatever the length of your stay, it's sure to be a busy one.

Other remarks
- In low and mid-season, weekly stays are possible, but only from Saturday to Saturday.
- Neighborhood noise is prohibited from 10:30 p.m. to 8 a.m., including weekends.
- Bed linen and towels provided, beds made up on arrival.
- The jacuzzi is serviced weekly. Alcohol, chicha and tobacco are prohibited.
- Charging station for electric vehicles available at extra cost (energy charged at current rate).
- Baby chair and cot available on request.
- Underfloor heating throughout. Heat pump.
- The accommodation has been awarded the "Accueil vélo" label by France vélo tourisme in 2023.
