Situated amongst award winning vineyards and across the street from Okanagan Lake, this 4 bedroom holiday home with a massive sunny deck, beautiful lake views and a hot tub is the perfect destination for all types of vacationers; families, a get-away with friends or a professional couple with a love of water sports, good restaurants, beaches, cycling and wine! This Sante Fe style home with exposed wood beams, wood trimmed windows and cedar decking has 2 fireplaces, three separate sun decks, 3.5 bathrooms and is stylishly decorated with bright colours and complimenting high quality white linens. Equipped with a washer and dryer, dishwasher, gourmet pots and pans, BBQ, high end patio furniture, the amenities are sure please the most discerning of guests. The house sleeps 8 people with 3 queen/king beds in 3 separate bedrooms and a set of bunk beds in the 4th bedroom. The primary bedroom suite is massive, taking up the entire top floor of the house. The 2nd bedroom is a large suite with a 2 piece bath and separate entrance. The yard is fully landscaped with perennial beds and lavender galore. Two large walnut trees provide shade for the top deck. The driveway leads down to the public beach area in downtown Okanagan Centre. Do you ski? The house is a 45 min drive from Silver Star and a 1 hour drive from Big White. Have a boat? A boat buoy is provided with the house so any type of water craft can be safely tied off for the length of your stay. Do any paddling (kayak SUP or canoeing)? The Pebble Beach Hut offering watercraft for rent, is a 5 min walk down the road. Intrigue Wines, O’Rourke Peak Cellars, Arrowleaf, Ex Nihilo and 50th Parallel are a 5 minute drive away. Gray Monk Winery is within walking distance. Activities and attractions in Kelowna are 15-20 min drive south. Lake Country is perfectly situated to avoid the summer traffic congestion of Kelowna but provides the high class experience of wine touring and tasting in multi-million dollar tasting rooms and the fun family experience of beaching on the many miles of public lakeshore across the street from the house. House is equipped with high speed WIFI, AC, two TV’s, a badminton net that can be set up on the lawn, board games and outdoor parking for 3 vehicles. We do not allow bachelor or bachelorette parties, weddings or other events. There is a 9pm weekday quiet time rule and 10pm weekends. All visiting needs to take place inside the home after these times as noise travels off the decks very easily and disrupts the neighbours.
