The outdoor view was beautiful. Inside was cozy as well. I loved that the host had a few essentials in the fridge (jelly, mayo, ECT) that you don't want to have to buy and waste. Also had some creamer and sugar for coffee. Bed was cozy, though a little hard for my taste. Host had a nice combo of harder and softer pillows which is always appreciated. My only negative was the shower head was a little high for me. At 5'4" I had to stand against the glass to get the water to hit my head correctly. The nozzle is not adjustable so I couldn't get it to lower the spray. My almost 6 foot husband had no problems though. We will be looking at this place again for a future visit.

It reached 100 degrees during our stay, and A/C wasn’t listed as an amenity but they had a portable unit that did a great job keeping us cool while we weren’t floating the river. Definitely saved us this trip! Well appointed kitchen, everything went well. I wish the river was more accessible!

Great Location

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the River Run Cottage. Right on the river and still walking distance to town make this an ideal place to stay. The house is very clean and comfortable. The host is responsive and helpful.

Great Location

Location is prime. So close to town but right on the river. Gorgeous views, very relaxing! Kitchen is very well appointed. Not only do they have a coffee maker, but a French press and pour over as well. I was relieved because I usually bring my own French press but had forgotten it.

Leavenworth stay during Octoberfest season

We had a wonderful experience with our VRBO stay. We were able to check in early. The house was exactly as described and was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a great place to stay, especially as we were busy around town for a wedding/visiting the downtown area while we were visiting. It was a simple home, but was appropriately stocked, had plenty of parking, and the view truly made it worth the cost. We walked downtown. To get to the main strip it was about 0.5 miles. To get to the downtown area where most restaurants are, it was about 1 mile-1.5 miles total, mostly with sidewalks. Overall, it was an easy walk, and it was nice to escape town to sit near the river outside. We would stay here again.

This was one of the most equipped short stays we have ever stayed in. The bathroom and kitchen were well stocked with anything you could need. The setting was private and beautiful, yet walking distance to town. I would highly recommend this property, it was super clean and perfect!

Perfect property!

We were all very impressed with the condition and cleanliness of this wonderful property! I can honestly say this was probably the cleanest vrbo we have ever stayed at. We were also impressed with how nicely the kitchen was stocked with spices and amenities. Very nice dishes, pots and pans and kitchen utensils. It was close enough to town that we were able to walk in and enjoy the day. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was not what I expected.

The listing is managed by a property management company. The online paperwork was miles long and because I had missed a portion of the paperwork we did not receive the code to enter the house until we were just almost to town. The house it’s self has and odd lay out ( it was probably a garage at one point) and the decor was dark colors , sort of Italian. Which in the mountains next to the Baverian town was odd and also the now. The furnace is in the house and makes a lot of noise. We kept saying “ what is that noise”. One morning it woke me and I thought there was a helicopter coming in. The kitchen was very well appointed with dishes and baking pans. The bathroom was also well stocked bedroom mattresses were very comfy. Extra blankets and plenty of towels. The Sleigh ride at Mounrain Springs lodge was amazing and we would like to come back again for a weekend at the resort there. Hopefully this summer. Leavenworth was magical with the snow and Christmas lights and the restaurants that we visited were wonderful. The shopping was fun and I found products I have purchased in Germany and was excited to find here.

Girl's Getaway

We are 4 closest friends does ventures out to different places fulfilling our bucket lists. Leavenworth was one of them and it was a lot of FUN and beautiful. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard by the river but had a wonderful time in town!

We were really impressed with River Run Cottage. Beautiful, well appointed house in a secluded natural setting. Relaxing by the river in the red chairs was such a joy. Thank you to Michelle for being so helpful and friendly. And for letting us check in early. I’d love to rent it again for longer than our two nights.

Nice, quiet place to stay. No view of river from house, but can sit outdoors by the river. Wifi worked well, so we got some work done. Town center is close (about 1-mile walk), or drive.

Quiet home with River in Backyard

a Quiet home 1 minute down road from the end of the main drag in Leavenworth town. very convenient access in and out (of town), but close by to all other needed amenities (grocery, restaurant, etc.). Backyard of home looks out onto Icicle Creek tributary of Wenatchee River. Mountain range and the National Forest visible across river - above, and in distance. a great escape from urban, city living

We enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed to prepare our food was easily at hand, including spices and other extras. The interior is roomy and tastefully decorated. Beds comfortable. The location of this place is perfect! Close to town and skiing, but quiet with ample privacy and parking space. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Beautiful riverside setting.

Hard to beat this location for proximity to town and peaceful setting. It was very clean which is a huge plus. Communication with property manager was not good. No iron, although upon mentioning it, one was provided the following day. No where to hang your clothes ( even more need for iron) so we lived out of our suitcases. Internet connection was great. We never did figure out the TV, three or four remotes. I'm sure it was partly operator error 🙂
