I have been in the Real Estate busines most of my professional life: Realtor in Colorado and renting my family properties in France since my expatriation in Denver, almost 20 years ago!
Muriel Martin purchased this condo in 1960
This residence, and the other one I rent in Burgundy are family owned and well taken care of: that's where I grew up, spent my family vacations (and still does each summer) and have many fond memories!
I take my family back to France almost every summer to visit our friends and French! Paris is still our home, and we love to discover the new things that this city has to offer every year.
I am glad I can share this wonderful place with you!
My family had the absolute best 5 day vacation in Paris staying in your apartment. Fernando showed us around the apartment and gave us information how to get around as well as additional sights our kids would enjoy.
Its location was so convenient to walk to many of the sights and easy to go a block and catch the metro (We even ran into Fernando and his family on the metro). The local restaurants were of good value. We would love to stay again if we get to return to Paris :-)
Great location within 10-15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower, and very close to subway / bus. Rue Saint Dominique had wonderful stores and restaurants. The property is well-maintained, safe, was accurately described and the both the owner and onsite manager were very easy to deal with. Renting the apartment was a much nicer option vs. two hotel rooms, given all the benefits of a full kitchen, washer and dryer and an opportunity to experience the neighborhood like a Parisian for a few days. Value wise, this also came in at a lower cost. My family of 6 had a great time in Paris, and would love to come back someday. Merci!
We were 2 couples (mid 50's) who had driven for 5 days around northern France and spent 4 nights at this apartment. We had problems with our e-mail on checking into the apartment and Fernando was very helpful and met us on very short notice. The apartment was perfect, after 5 days traveling it was nice to wash and dry our clothes. We did eat most of our meals out but the kitchen was very nice, well stocked and the dishwasher was very handy. The location was perfect..on a side street so it was quiet... a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, a 2 minute walk to the metro, and very close to many sidewalk cafes, the market, and pastry shops to die for.. The apartment was very clean and spacious and was less expensive than us renting 2 hotel rooms. We enjoyed walking to the Eiffel Tower and then taking the Batobus up the Seine for many of the tourist attractions. I 100% would recommend staying here and if(when) we return to Paris I will definitely stay here! Merci Muriel and Fernando!!
Our family, three adults, two children ages 5 and 9 stayed for one week in this lovely apartment. We used the car service recommended by the owner for transportation from the airport and were met by Fernando who was gracious and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable for the five of us and the balcony was a big hit with the girls, they loved "playing house" with their dolls and having "al fresco" snacks at the patio table. It was great having a washer and dryer and the complimentary phone calls to the U.S. was a very nice perk! The apartment was ideally located on a quiet street with everything we needed nearby We really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood and doing our daily shopping. The metro was just a block away and there was an RER connection at the Opera station that dropped us right at the gates of Disneyland Paris. We would most definitely stay here again and recommend the apartment to friends. The week went by so quickly and we really miss Paris!
Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday at this property and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect. We were a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and the metro was 1/2 a block from the apartment. The apartment was very comfortable for the 5 of us and we were able to walk to the market everyday. The property manager was professional and very helpful. He answered all of our questions and made some wonderful recommendations for restaurants. The owner was very accommodating and easy to work with. Would definitely stay here again.
We had a great experience. The apartment is in a great neighborhood and easily accessible. It's not near a major hotel, which we liked. It was very much a locals neighborhood with cafe's, pubs, and markets. Very close to the Metro as well to get anywhere in the city if you weren't up for the walk. The apartment was not huge, but big enough for my family of 5. The building is very old with lots of character including a 2 person elevator. Keep in mind the building is VERY quiet and I'm sure that really noisy guests would not be appreciated. Having a washing machine and dryer are huge perks. The owner and manager were very helpful and easy to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.
Many convenience stores and boutiques right in the neighborhood, and open air market on Rue Cler, casual brasseries and cafes, classy cuisine, Eiffel Tower, Army museum, Rodin Museum, Napoleon's Tomb, Orsay Museum, Grand et Petit Palais are all walking distance! Les Invalides, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, Trocadero, Montmartre, Montparnasse, Parcs, Champs de Mars, Esplanade des Invalides and more just surround the residence... a short walk or a few metro stations away, you are in the heart of downtown Paris!
