As it is sited on the point of land straddling Corito Bay and Forest Bay--with a sweeping 270 degree unobstructed panoramic view--it is a Caribbean gem. The scrumptious view takes in all of close-in St. Martin, Isle de Mar, and a distant St. Barts. Straightforward and simple, this villa is the perfect complement to all the richness of your Caribbean experience. You have “everything you need” inside, but you are going to want to spend all your time outside. Mother Nature, herself, would pick this one.
This unique villa is built as a duplex, comprised of two fully equipped, independent units (2BR/2BA and 1BR/1BA). For privacy considerations, we only rent to one party at a time. So the flexibility for renting either or both units really enhances your personal space as friends and families gather. Both units face the sea and open directly onto the pool patio. And the beach comes right up to the 36’ pool! The 200’ sand beachfront wraps around two sides of the property, giving the impression that you are right in the middle of the Caribbean. As even the closest of firends and families may have differences of opinion regarding their personal sleep environment (Some like it hot!), all three bedrooms feature individually controlled air conditioning.)

Anguilla is rather unique in that the entire coastline is open to the public for the first 30 feet above the high water mark. This means that you are welcome to roam wherever you please. Yet Palm Shores Villa is so privately sited, you rarely have any passers-by. While the beach immediately in front of the villa is narrow and undulating, one can stroll a quarter mile in both directions. This point of land straddles Forest Bay and Corito Bay. Palm Shores villa is highly regarded for its spectacular, panoramic view, right at the water's edge, at sea level! As it faces east and south, it benefits from plenty of trade breezes. This location is sparsely residential, with no commercial enterprises in the immediate vicinity. There is a well-stocked, small grocery about 3 minutes distant by car. The Valley (commercial center of the island with large grocery stores, gas station, banks, etc.) is about 7 minutes by car. As the villa is pretty much center-island on the SE coast, it is basically equidistant to beaches and restaurants, north, east, and west. Island-wide, it is one of only a few sites with plenty of palm trees.
Why the Owner Chose Anguilla:
After visiting many Caribbean locations over many years, my wife and I first brought our 6 month old daughter to Anguilla in 1991. At the time--and still today--the island maintained a very low tourist profile. (You can go anywhere, without feeling jammed.) The world-class beaches and wonderful people convinced us that we needn't go any further. Since our purchase in 1993, the dining experience has really ramped up, the beach-bar scene has expanded, and a Gregg Norman designed golf course, Temenos, opened for play. The tennis facilities are excellent and inexpensive. With more than 30 beaches, at any given time, most of them are yours alone.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Personally, we fell in love with this property primarily for the privacy and the sand/sea/pool experience. The setting will blow you away, not to mention the untainted night sky! The massive view of St. Martin across the channel is stunning. As it is on the SE coast, it benefits from the Trade Wind breezes 24/7. (You can sit by the pool on the hottest days, and still be comfortable.) Rest assured that you can happily spend your entire visit right on this property. There is a reef about 100 yards out from shore which breaks up all the waves. And the water is shallow, so if you snorkel a lot, when you get tired, just stand up! Or, go outside the reef where the snorkeling and scuba are dramatic! Take a sandy hike to the east or west.
