  • A beautifully appointed condo on a gorgeous beach

"We came here for some R&R and couldn't have asked for a better stay. This condo is incredibly comfortable. The luxurious beds allowed us to sleep in a couple of mornings (a rarity). We spent a couple of lazy nights eating in which was made possible by the equipment kitchen. We were thrilled to be located steps away from such a beautiful beach! The condo affords a view of the ocean and killer sunsets. So happy to have spent time in Sea Breeze."

  • Totally Relax No Worries

"The house was well-stocked, and decorated with unique art. We had every convenience one needs to totally relax, including a gorgeous veranda with a fantastic view of the ocean! And his rum punch and his fish dinner is out of this world!! Location is very good, with just a short drive (1 to 5 minutes) to great restaurants, supermarkets, and the beaches at Island Harbor or Shoal Bay. Mr. Ambrose greeted my siblings and I immediately upon our arrival from St. Martin. From that moment on, Mr. Ambrose's warmth, accessibility, and hospitality for us were unparalleled! It was also nice to have such a kind locals, who know so much about the island, available for tips on restaurants and things to do. Mr. Ambrose also checked in with us every morning to ask if we needed anything. We hope to stay here every time we return to Anguilla!"

  • Wonderful week in Anguilla

"Anguilla Shores is located mid-island. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of the water. The owners and the property manager, Dondra, have anticipated every need that you might have during your stay. The kitchen is well- stocked if you want to cook, there are lots of linens, beach toys and chairs, and even candles for ambiance. On arrival there were basic food supplies to use until we could go to the grocery store (there are nice ones within a 10 minute drive). Everything was as described on the VRBO website, if not better. Both the owners and Dondra were easy to communicate with (before and during our stay). Dondra met us at Customs and we followed her to the villa. You can reach every part of the island within 20 minute, if not sooner. The Anguillans we have met or come in contact with have all been very helpful and welcoming. The pool is a good size and well maintained, as are the house and grounds of the villa. Don't miss the Anguillan Heritage Collection Museum and, if you are lucky, you may get to meet the director, Mr. Coville Petty, a local historian and a wealth of information about Anguilla. We enjoyed many of the beaches, and had delicious meals. Anguilla is readying for the 50th Anniversary of Independence from St Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla during May and it is the perfect time to come visit this lovely island. We hope to return here in the future."

  • Great condo for relaxing Anguilla vacation

"My mom and I had such an enjoyable stay at Shangrila Condo at Sandy Hill Bay Condos. Each day we enjoyed watching the sunrise from the balcony. After making coffee and breakfast in the condo kitchen, we spent mornings by the pool, and the other guests/owners staying at SHBC that we met there were so nice and welcoming. Many had been coming to this location for 10+ years! In the afternoons, we explored nearby beaches, and all were beautiful. Most evenings we cooked dinner at the condo to save on expenses. The unit has all the pots/pans/dinnerware you might need. The supermarket closest to the condo has a nice gluten-free section and organic milk and eggs, but a little light on fruits/veggies. We were able to supplement by stopping at other markets. Also, don't panic at the prices on the shelves, which are in Eastern Caribbean Dollars. You may pay a little more because it's an island, but we still found it cheaper than going out to eat. We did eat out one night at the Straw Hat Restaurant on Meads Bay, which was very nice and right on the beach. Another night we stopped for takeout at Ken's BBQ, which was delicious! We planned quiet and peaceful evenings for reading. You might bring along a DVD to watch if you like. We were able to stay up-to-date via the included Wi-Fi, which worked very well, with just a minor outage the last 24 hours. The queen-size bed is soft and comfortable, and the A/C is quite powerful. Christine (owner), Elaine (car rental), and Joyce (housekeeping) were so very welcoming, and we hope to come back to stay again soon."
