About this property

Secluded House at trailhead to Minnewaska State Park

This is our guest house on our private 40-acres surrounded by the state forrest. We lived in it for 25 years before building a new house a mile-up on the property. Has an amazing fireplace in large living room, chef's kitchen, 4 bedrooms, large glass enclosed studio, etc. But its the property and access to nature that makes our property special. Hiking, biking, cross country skiing, and great neighbors make this a great stay.

Spacious house on a beautiful property

This house was perfect for our 10 day trip upstate. Located on a trailhead to Minnewaska State Park, we were able to go on hikes through the state park every day by just walking a couple of minutes up the private road. The house was large and airy with great natural light and a fireplace we used every night. Sadly the pool was closed for the season, but a new hot tub arrived at the end of our stay and we were able to enjoy that for our final weekend. Communication with Michael was easy and he was very responsive to any issues or concerns we had. We would definitely stay here again in the nicer weather when the pool is open!
