This property was built specifically for short term rentals.

We had a fantastic time! The hosts thought of every little detail to make our stay more enjoyable. The house was immaculate, beds comfortable and furnishings were perfectly appointed. We loved the freshly made cookies, complementary bottle of wine and cheese upon arrival. We were provided wood for the fire pit and all the items needed to make s’mores. The home was in a fantastic location for visiting wineries and distilleries. We loved playing games at night and taking a morning walk every day.We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful, incredibly spacious, and very comfortable. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’ll definitely be coming back next year!

Wonderful stay, equal to if not better than our prior stays. Spotless kitchen and Naomi baked a wonderful coffee cake for us--steaming upon arrival, with a bottle chilled waiting for us. Everything about the house is easy and since the owner's house is right next door to the cottage, everything was perfect! Look forward to staying here again!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at the cabin. The owners were so thoughtful, thorough, clean, kind, and over the top accommodating. The cabin sleep six comfortably, the beds were super cozy, the kitchen is spacious and equipped with the necessities. And the best surprise ever was that the host baked us a delicious pistachio cake! The outdoor area is so charming. We actually enjoyed a fire in the outdoor fire pit and the host graciously Rep replenished our firewood when we went in to watch the Kentucky Derby. Came back out and there it was! I highly recommend this property and we would absolutely come back again.

The description and photos are accurate, yet possibly even better than expected. Three women traveling together for a few days, enjoyed the well-decorated gathering spaces and the privacy of their own rooms and bathrooms. The upstairs room is amazing, and our hosts left wonderful treats which complemented what we purchased- very thoughtful! The view is lovely, and the location is ideal for anyone without a specific plan. We drove to historic Waterford one day and hiked at Sky Meadow State Park and visited Middlebury another, enjoying the scenery along the way. Beautiful property, well supplied, and we have hopes of returning one day!

Had a fantastic time staying at Vineyard View Lodge celebrating my sister's upcoming wedding. Lodge is absolutely beautiful and David and Naomi were wonderful and so accommodating and made us feel so welcome. Would definitely stay again!

We met in the hospitality industry back in 1979 and are still "bringing it".

Why they chose this property

This is the perfect place for an extended family retreat, a group of couples that want to
"escape the big city", or go winery hoping. You are not sharing a house with other guests.
You get the whole place. We have plenty of parking and all the firewood you need for the
fire pit out front on the patio. We also have free broadband internet through Verizon and Smart TVs in each bedroom.

We have a couple of professional private chefs you can book directly. Keep in mind that they stay very busy and you need to book in advance.

We are directly across the street from Willowcroft Farm Winery, around the corner
1.2 miles is Stone Tower Winery, 2.3 miles away is Zephaniah Farm Vineyard, and 3.5
miles away is Three Creeks Winery.

Some winery's allow you to bring picnics. Some only allow picnics in certain areas. Please
check in advance for winery rules. We HIGHLY recommend calling the winery in advance
to see if a reservation is needed.
