Located within the peaceful and quaint surroundings of The Village at Bear Trap Dunes, this spacious ground floor corner 3-bedroom, 2-full bath Golf Villa-style condo - approximately 1,525 square feet - makes a great vacation rental for you and your family. Screened porch and small terrace too! Central air conditioning, well-equipped kitchen, full size washer and dryer and more. 4 TVs (all flat-screens), 2 DVDs, Sports cable package on TV, gas fireplace, gas grill, Keurig, Bose radio, Wifi. Note: This Bear Trap Dunes condo features carpeting in the living room and bedrooms, wood floors in the dining room and tile in the kitchen and baths.

The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.

Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.

*Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

We were impressed with the neighborhood along with the quite setting that overlooks golf course. Master bedroom was sizable and master bed was comfortable. Living room was spacious and plenty of comfortable seating for the family.

The atmosphere of the community, the suite made us feel at home. The golf course was beautiful and the location of Ocean View is 20 minutes from Rehoboth and 20 minutes from Ocean City. The staff at Vacasa is very professional, friendly and are diligent to respond to all emails and text

Comfortable condo

Nicely decorated condo with a great community indoor and outdoor pool. Only real issue was the weak Wi-Fi and TV remotes.

Potential is there but came up short

The place has all of the features you want from a rental at Bear Trap but unfortunately it wasn’t cleaned (floors were dirty with hair all over them and trash and no mattress covers), poor ventilation system (filters needed to be changed and we’re not returned. Vents were very dirty), no cable in one room due to an issue with the equipment (called Vacasa but no remedy to the issue), storm door was very loud (this was an issue because home is beside golf course). Lot’s of potential but it came up short. Bear Trap staff and food were wonderful. We hope Vacasa can get with the cleaning crew to ensure that the place can be properly cleaned.

Would stay again

The amenities in the neighborhood were great, the kids had an easy time accessing and thoroughly enjoyed the pool, athletic courts, etc. Furniture was good, twin mattresses were rough and couple kids ended up on the couch because they couldnt' sleep. Upgrades to those mattresses would be nice. The TV's in those rooms did not work either. We did receive a text via vacasa on our 2nd day there that they wanted someone to come and upgrade the TV's, I let them know at that time that two of them didn't work and I offered to coordinate a time but it did not happen. We didn't really use them so it was fine. Parts of the house are also freezing while the two twin bedrooms didn't seem to get much air at all, so it was hot in there. Overall we had a great trip and the house was clean and roomy and easy to access.

Condo not worth the money

Great location in Bear Trap, which was really the only redeeming quality about this rental. The condo was filthy from stained carpets to spider webs (with spiders) in every room...we counted 11. The porches had not been swept in months and were so dirty we didn't even sit outside all week. We found dirty clothes (presumably from one of the last guests) under one of the beds. Basically it looked like someone went in and did a quick vacuum and counter wipe down for the total cleaning. Also, we cleaned the showers ourselves when we arrived as there was hair in them. Lastly, there is a 4am daily sprinkler that goes off each morning that hits the porch next to the bedrooms loudly which woke us up every night...it ran for well over 30 minutes.

Great location but definitely not cleaned

As soon as we arrived, we opened the door and noticed that the couches looked like someone had just been sitting in them. It kind of creeped us out but we checked that no one was there. Then we noticed the cobwebs throughout so went through to look at the kitchen, bathrooms, and beds and saw that it looked not even halfway cleaned. We are paying for the place to be cleaned professionally overall but also because of the pandemic. Yet, it was the worst cleaning job I’ve seen. There was dry toothpaste and hair in the sinks. An entire room looked to have have had its beds hastily made so we checked the sheets and quickly noticed they were dirty and when we pulled back the comforter fully, we saw a bunch of black hairs all over it. In the kitchen, the appliance doors looked dirty and there was food stains on the microwave door. We luckily brought clorox wipes and Lysol spray and proceeded to go through the condo spraying the beds and surfaces so we could feel better about staying there. The second bedroom that had clean bedding had horrible mattresses that need to be replaced so the second night we replaced the comforter and sheets from the room with the dirty bedding because it had better mattresses. We also noticed bits of trash underneath the dresser and trunk (like bottle caps and clothes tags) so the floor was barely cleaned as well.

112A Willow Oak

Great space, pretty well equipped kitchen, great sectional. Great neighborhood for walking and biking. Restuarant on site is good. Pool and gym are nice. (.6 mile walk) I'd give it a 3 but the neighborhood and people made up for the downsides. I hear they are replaced the old TV after us, so that's good. The beds are not comfortable. The master king bed is old and the other beds very firm and some are lumpy. Would be nice to have room darkening blinds or shades in the master.The big issue is the lack of insulation and noise from the upstairs neighbors. Very loud at times. The screen porch and deck are super and the unit is very private and quiet with a beautiful view but the decks are dirty and need to be power washed badly. I felt bad that we'd track dirt in on the nice carpet. I would stay again in Bear Trap but would prefer a top floor unit.

Great location with lots of natural light and lovely views from the apartment. Comfortable and homey. Only thing to note for light sleepers - walls are a bit thin so we could hear the upstairs neighbors.

Good but not Great

We had a nice time, despite some of the big negatives. For starters the place is nice, it’s not huge but not small. The bathrooms are good size. The walk to the door from the parking is a little bit, normally not an issue but I’m disabled so it would have been lovely to know. On our first day, the fire alarm went off. It was a glitch with the alRm and the fire department could not do anything. We had to wait for the alarm company. It took them over 4 hours to shut it off. It was ear piercing, we had to leave and change our plans. The other huge negative was the huge tear in the screen on the covered porch. We tried sitting out but got eaten up by mosquitoes so that put a quick end to our dining on the porch. It was extremely disappointing because we chose this place over another one because it had the screened in porch. The kitchen also does not have any room for food. There is no pantry. So bizarre. We made do, but I would have liked to put everything away not leave it on the counter. The place has what you need, it’s basically decorated and decently stocked.

Girls vacation

This was the first time I have been to Delaware’a beaches and it was absolutely beautiful! Loved the area and community! Very clean and extremely nice ppl! The condo was perfect size and the beds were so comfortable. It was very clean. The only thing I would say is that there were a couple of stains on the carpet and some places where the tape on the wall was peeling off. Great location in the community too! Definitely would recommend to others just need to be updated a bit.
