Great short term rental

Cozy and convenient stay and attentive host
This was a wonderful place to spend my first couple months in Pasadena while finding my footing. A very attentive host and a cozy abode with details tended to. All very comfortable and convenient.

My home away from home
I so enjoyed staying in Apt no.2 on Whitefield Rd in Pasadena, Ca. It was quiet, safe, convenient and friendly. Celina my host was welcoming and prompt in answering any question I had. She is a great landlord! The apartment was spacious , well decorated, clean and fun. It even had 2 T. V’s. It had everything I needed to include a garage and laundry. I walked every day. It is in a beautiful neighborhood with a park nearby and a farmers market. I would recommend this lovely place to anyone who wants to enjoy California. Marie A

PEACE AMID CHAOTIC COVID
Celina was one of the best hostesses we've had in all of our VRBO/HomeAway stays worldwide. She was incredibly responsive to our needs, displaying an eagerness to make our seven-week stay perfect . . . which it was. She made sure that the apartment was thoroughly disinfected before our arrival, and assiduously guarded our privacy after we moved in. We loved walking two miles each morning through a quiet, charming neighborhood, as well as the nearby Victory Park. We rarely heard trafffic sounds or distracting sirens in the neighborhood, yet within two minutes we could drive onto the I-210 freeway. And equally important was the easy access to all manner of shopping experiences. We will miss Celina and her cozy apartment. We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this very nice, very affordable, well-stocked VRBO property.

We didnt spend much time at apartment but when we did we felt right at home. Location was very convenient . Lovely neighborhood for walking and a super park next street over.

Whitefield Apartment #4
This furnished apartment was a great find less than 15 minutes to downtown Pasadena. It's also located within a quiet neighborhood walking distance to Victory Park, Pasadena farmer's market, churches, restaurants (Mint Leaf Indian Cuisine! etc.); I rarely saw my neighbors within the four unit apartment building, but when I did, interactions were pleasant. Celina, the owner, was always friendly and quick to respond to any concern/issue I had during my stay, which were thankfully minor in nature. The cable, internet and washer/dryer were always in working order. It was convenient to have a designated off street parking spot, especially since overnight street parking in Pasadena requires a permit.
My stay was did extend into the heat of summer, so I will say it was a bit difficult at times to adequately cool this upstairs apartment with triple digit temperatures using the two AC window units- one in the dining room and one in the bedroom, especially while at home during the day. However, at night, the air cooled and often having the windows open and using standing fans provided decent cross-ventilation.
If I return to the Pasadena area, I would definitely consider staying at the Whitefield Apartments again. Thanks Celina!

Cute apartment in great location
We stayed at this apartment for 6 months. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. The neighborhood is safe and nice to walk around. It's walking distance to a great Saturday Farmers market, and also, Cremela, a gourmet ice cream place. Shopping and groceries are a convenient 5 minute drive. It's also very close to downtown Pasadena. The apartment came with a small but well equipped kitchen. We loved our stay and highly recommend it.

Whitefield Apartment
I have stayed here twice, each time for several months.
The description is accurate and the pictures are true to the house. The street can be seen using Google map.
The property is clean and very well maintained. The kitchen has everything that you need.
The neighbourhood is safe and OK for taking walks. Victory park is quite large and about two blocks away. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance. Easy access to 210 and a short drive to the Goldline which connects to the entire LA system through Union Station. Pasadena has many restaurants, pubs, book stores, theaters, and interesting locations (Huntington, Cal Tech, JPL, Pasadena Playhouse, etc.)
The other tenants have been pleasant and goods neighbours. The owner has been helpful when small issues arise.
I would recommend this apartment for adults without disabilities. It is a good place to stay in Pasadena/the San Grabiel Valley and a good base for sightseeing anywhere in LA.

3-month renter
My Mom and I have rented this property for (2) three month visits, and are renting again starting in Jan. This property is very clean, the apartment is sunny, and the location is very convenient to all Pasadena activities. The neighborhood is also quite lovely, and I enjoy running through the neighborhoods and Eaton Canyon (about 1 mile away.) I highly recommend for 2 to 3 people. The downstairs apartments are fine for people with some mobility issues.

These apartments are comfortable and very spacious with 750 sq feet. The small building size - only 4 units -allows for quiet apartment living. The layout of the units is great, with bedrooms in the back of building, away from street, and also providing privacy if two or three people are sharing the space. The location is very close to hiking at Eaton Canyon, with beautiful views of the San Gabriel Mountains. This location also provides easy access to the 210 Freeway and to all of Pasadena and nearby cities.
