This Pasadena location is ideal in a very residential neighborhood, yet centrally located, with easy access to many Los Angeles destinations, including Disney Studios in Burbank and Warner Brothers, downtown Los Angeles, USC medical, Occidental College, as well as all Pasadena destinations: Cal Tech, JPL, and area hospitals such as Huntington, Methodist in Arcadia, Glendale Adventist, and City of Hope.
What makes this Apartment unique
These apartments are comfortable and very spacious with 750 sq feet. The small building size - only 4 units -allows for quiet apartment living. The layout of the units is great, with bedrooms in the back of building, away from street, and also providing privacy if two or three people are sharing the space. The location is very close to hiking at Eaton Canyon, with beautiful views of the San Gabriel Mountains. This location also provides easy access to the 210 Freeway and to all of Pasadena and nearby cities.

We didnt spend much time at apartment but when we did we felt right at home. Location was very convenient . Lovely neighborhood for walking and a super park next street over.

Whitefield Apartment #4
This furnished apartment was a great find less than 15 minutes to downtown Pasadena. It's also located within a quiet neighborhood walking distance to Victory Park, Pasadena farmer's market, churches, restaurants (Mint Leaf Indian Cuisine! etc.); I rarely saw my neighbors within the four unit apartment building, but when I did, interactions were pleasant. Celina, the owner, was always friendly and quick to respond to any concern/issue I had during my stay, which were thankfully minor in nature. The cable, internet and washer/dryer were always in working order. It was convenient to have a designated off street parking spot, especially since overnight street parking in Pasadena requires a permit.
My stay was did extend into the heat of summer, so I will say it was a bit difficult at times to adequately cool this upstairs apartment with triple digit temperatures using the two AC window units- one in the dining room and one in the bedroom, especially while at home during the day. However, at night, the air cooled and often having the windows open and using standing fans provided decent cross-ventilation.
If I return to the Pasadena area, I would definitely consider staying at the Whitefield Apartments again. Thanks Celina!
