This charming guesthouse in the scenic and peaceful Northwest neighborhood of Pasadena on just minutes from X-Mas Tree Lane with clear views of the San Gabriel Mountains and proximity to hiking trails, such as Eaton Canyon and Mt. Wilson. Ten minutes from the world-famous Rose Bowl, Huntington Library and Old Town. The space was awesome - larger than some of our previous rentals. Nice, quiet street, with a great breakfast spot just a 5 minute walk around the corner. Everyone we encountered, from our host, Lupe, to neighbors on our walks, to the proprietor of the breakfast place, was super friendly. We would absolutely stay here again!

So very clean, easy check in, host was super friendly and responsive - everything I needed for basic kitchen functions, plenty of towels and some really nice blankets - It was a very comfortable and restorative stay! Walkable to a great breakfast spot, I'm already bookmarking it to stay here again! Lupe (and everyone else I bumped into during my stay) was super nice!

A comfortable, clean and charming place to stay. Host is great, neighborhood is nice. Kitchen appliances, AC, bathroom stuff \, etc. worked which not always the case with VRBOs. Only hassle is street parking, you need a permit from the city.

The house had everything we needed and more! Very clean, cozy and felt like home! The office space was a perfect set up for me to catch up on work while still being able to hang out with my son in the living room. It was our third time staying in this sweet cottage--need I say more? I'll just note that the couch and coffee table have been replaced from those shown in the photos as of this date (10/25). The couch is definitely more cozy than the one prior reviewers described as uncomfortable. I'll check availability again for our next SoCal trip.

A long weekend stay

The place was nice, quaint, and clean. The only critique I have was the check in process didn’t specify that the guest house was behind the fence, so I initially got lost. That being said, the host and friends were amazing and helped us out!

Excellent space in great location

Rented this space for a weekend visit to the Los Angeles area. We were incredibly satisfied with the space. It was well appointed, super cute and just what we needed. The neighborhood was adorable and fun to walk around We definitely recommend this rental

Lovely little guest house

Cute house. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Kitchen was fine for basic cooking. Not a lot of cooking extras. Very nice neighborhood. Very quiet. Problems with WiFi connection that was resolved the last day of our stay.

Visiting Family

We stayed for 10 days. It was a great location. Our son got a parking pass for us and we were able to park in the street right in front of the property. It was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

I am a licensed contractor and provide design and installation of California and Mediterranean gardens . Randy is a native of Pennsylvania and is a moving professional. We love our home and our neighborhood and have a great relationship with our neighbors.

The cozy bedroom is furnitured with a queen size bed and a secretary/vanity, perfect for applying make-up or writing postcards to your loved ones. The bedroom is kept cool year round with a wall A/C unit and ceiling fan. The kitchen is stocked with all essential culinary utensils, spices, coffee and tea. The full bathroom offers and extra deep bathtub and toiletry amenities, including shampoo, conditioner and soap. The living room is spacious and comfortable for lounging to enjoy a movie on the SmartTV. The extra long marble desktop offers ample workspace for laptop and portable printer. Both kitchen and living area are kept comfortable via an wall A/C unit and heating system. A separate laundry room is equipped with extra large washer & dryer and natural cleaning products. The private patio, shaded by a grand oak tree, is made more special by comfortable seating, a fire pit and BBQ, perfect for enjoying So. Cal weather and unwinding with a glass of wine at the end of the day. Casita on Santa Rosa has a separate private entrance and meets all Covid-19 cleanliness requirements, including deep cleaning after each use of all surfaces, bedding, towels and cushions.
