About Kaye
My husband and I love the beach and so enjoy our vacations there. We feel in love with Destin the first time we saw the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the wonderful sugar-white sand of the beaches!

We were drawn to Amalfi Coast Resort because of its close proximity to the Gulf of Mexico and the beauty of the grounds. Additionally, we love the size of the condo. With 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, the condo works great for families and friends traveling together. We continue to work with other Amalfi home owners to make the complex the very best vacation place to visit in Destin.
What makes this Condo unique
Amalfi Coast Resort is just across the street from the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful sugar sand beaches of Destin. Amalfi has spacious grounds and wonderful lawns. The resort is quiet but great shopping, restaurants, and recreational activities are nearby.

Beach has recently been completely refurbished! Minimum Age Limit for Renters: age 25.

Overall a great value! The property is a little outdated but well maintained. The view of the ocean was nice. There isn't a great way to get down to the pool but not a big deal. The kitchen was well stocked. Would stay again.

We love the location - the resort is beautiful, close to restaurants, shopping, and short walk across the road to the beach. However, I was a little disappointed that it is now a public beach instead of the private beach for the Amalfi Resort that it once was. The room was very clean, spacious, and a good view. The beach chairs and umbrella that were provided was very nice as well. We really enjoyed our stay and felt at home! Kaye was very nice to work with and helped us switch dates when we had a conflict. We would recommend and return to this condo!

PROS: Clean, close to beach (its on a public beach but it felt almost private), nice pools, right by elevator (came with my handicap dad and he liked the location), wifi, TV (with cable), 2 king beds with pull out couch (sleep 8 people comfortably if you like pull out couches), had beach chairs and other stuff to use, very nice washer and dryer, close to Winn Dixie for groceries, great view of sea from balcony, VERY nice owner and easy to work with (responsive, courteous, and detailed)
CONS: far from Destin - Boardwalk, Crab Island, Restaurants (20 min with NO traffic, 40 min with traffic), beds are little firm for my taste, no easy way to get to pool
I would recommend this location and the owner.

As wonderful as advertised. Great location, easy walking to several excellent restaurants. Nice bike/hike trail right outside the grounds. Easy access to any Panhandle area via 98. Kaye was nice to work with and very helpful with some local tips. Two suggestions, carpet cleaning, and a few better cookware pieces. That said, I would highly recommend and return to this condo.

Beautiful condo with all the amenities of home. Loved being so close to the beach, especially with 4 kids. Plenty of room for the whole family. Kaye was extremely prompt with a last minute vacation. Will definitely stay again.
