Very well located apartment in Aix

My husband and I stayed a few days in this apartment on the second floor of a building 10 minutes away from the hyper-center of Aix en Provence. The apartment is luminous with a balcony running on both sides facing south and west, the main room (the living area and kitchen) is a well-arranged open floor. There is one bedroom with lots of shelves, and an adjacent bathroom decorated like a spa. Nevertheless, we found that the main door was very tricky to unlock unless you break the key inside, the sliding French windows didn't close properly, the control pads running the water on/off in the toilet and the bathroom didn't work properly or didn't work at all so that we only had one 'half-working' faucet in the bathroom instead of two (no more hot water after two days), we could run hot water in the huge bath tub but couldn't have a bath because there was no plug, the light switches were sort of digital squares that worked randomly, and there were ants coming in the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. Overall and despite of that, we enjoyed our stay in Aix.

Wonderful spot in the middle of Aix!!

What can we say, from start to finish our stay was great! From the communications with the host’s mom, Mia, who was friendly and responsive to our inquiries to the amenities in the apartment, all went well. The location is ideally situated a short walk to the Cours Mirabeau with many shops along the way. The apartment had everything we needed for our 10 night stay. We had dinner in a few nights and it was great. Once we got used to the quirks of the remote control faucets all went well with those too. Great spot to experience what it's like to live in this beautiful part of France. We loved it!! Merci beaucoup!!

Phenomenal!!

This apartment was practically perfect in every way. It is charming, beautiful, fully appointed, well located and just the perfect apartment for a stay in Aix-en-Provence. The parking space is a bit tight so if you are renting a car be sure it is a small one. The balconies are beautiful, the furniture is lovely, the bed is comfortable and the Nespresso machine is a wonderful touch. We could NOT have had a better time!!! Highly recommended!

La vie en Aix rosé

My husband and I stayed for 12 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this property. It is luminous, well ventilated with modern windows and garden doors opening on 2 sides, clean and quite chic, some very modern lighting and wash basin water controls! This was one of the better equipped kitchens I have experienced whilst renting from VRBO: with 2 plastic cutting boards, some storage containers for leftovers, 2 non-stick frying pans ( in good nick ) silicone pot holders, 2 baking dishes, bowls for salad/ fruit etc., and a reasonably sharp Ikea knife. There was stemware! The appliances were modern and worked well. The 2 narrow balconies are excellent for morning café and afternoon aperitifs as well as late lunches- a patio umbrella is provided. It was my pleasure to water the plants :) Overall, the little accoutrements - coffee pods, tissues, paper towels and the linens etc. were of good quality. It was a pleasure to meet Mia, the owner’s mother, and have her introduce us to the apartment. This was truly a VRBO, by that I mean owned and cared for by a person, not an impersonal corporate entity. During our stay the hallway lighting was out of order, Mia is aware of this and intends to arrange for it to be corrected. What else to say? The bed is comfortable, the sofa has lots of pillows. It is sunny and bright in a quiet location. The provided parking spot is conveniently located and secure. We had a Renault Clio - a larger vehicle would be tricky. A bientôt et merci beaucoup!

2 pièces avec balcon très bien situé

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet appartement situé à proximité des centres d'intérêt de Aix. La place de parking fournie par Mia est très appréciable et nous a permis de profiter des alentours sans nous soucier du stationnement. L'appartement est très bien décoré (on s'y sent bien) et dispose de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin, y compris pour un déjeuner en terrasse au soleil 😊 Sarah et Mia sont des hôtes accueillantes et très réactives.

Die Wohnung liegt ruhig und günstig in zentraler Lage in Aix. Sie ist hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben zwei sehr entspannte Wochen genießen können. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war äußerst angenehm.
