Gîte la Lande, Périgord vert - Dordogne - Authentic charming farmhouse

In the countryside, peacefully situated at the end of a small lane, in an authentic architectural setting surrounded by pastures, chestnut forests, and small streams, lies the Farm of Lalande.

The gîte includes three bedrooms (one with a private bathroom). We have paid special attention to the bedding, with soft mattresses made in Italy and shutters on the windows to ensure a good night's sleep.
The gîte also includes a large living room/living area with a fireplace, a kitchenette located in the wide hallway, a toilet with shower and sink, as well as a separate WC.

The kitchenette is equipped with the essentials for preparing simple meals: 2 gas burners, a sink, a small refrigerator, and a microwave.

The gîte is attached to the rest of the property, with an independent entrance through the patio door of the living room. The adjoining terrace (facing southeast) allows you to enjoy the sun, in the shade of the surrounding tall trees, for most of the day.

The garden is not fenced, and the farm is surrounded by meadows with no nearby neighbors.
The farm is supplied with water from its own well. Heating and hot water are provided by solar energy. In case of cold weather, the stove complements the heating with wood from our forest.

We are available to advise you on activities and walks in the area, as we live on-site, just on the other side of the house. We also welcome pets, as we have two dogs ourselves.

We welcome you to an idyllic setting to enjoy the peace and quiet.
The main attraction of the gîte is its tranquility, with its pond located nearby and the opportunity to explore the surroundings.

For shopping, you can choose between La Coquille and Chalus, both about 7 km away, with local shops in the town center and a supermarket.

We also provide a few bicycles for your use.

You are just a few hundred meters from the Camino de Santiago and the future GR89, which will link Lyon to Bordeaux.
From our farm, you can easily explore all of Périgord and Dordogne, with easy access to the main roads.

During the high season, the minimum stay is set in the calendar.
