Key Colony Beach cute! Located on extra wide 7th Street canal, bring your big boat! This renovated ground level half duplex is charming and outfitted perfectly for your Keys vacation! A well equipped kitchen with eat-in bar overlooks the living area to the screened in porch! Watch the boats go by as you sun or read a book in the comfortable outdoor furniture!
The master bedroom offers a King bed, TV, large closet and separate entrance. It also has an en suite bathroom with walk in shower. The guest bedroom offers a Queen bed, flat screen TV, and closet. The large guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination and also features stackable washer/dryer.
Everything you need to enjoy your time on Key Colony Beach. Off-street parking, even enough room for your trailer! Fish cleaning station, water at the dock, bait freezer, large screened porch with a propane grill.
This home comes with Cabana Club, and is located just across the street from the Key Colony Beach Par 3 Golf Course! Bring your clubs!

Amazing location

Had a great week, seen a dolphin right by us while kayaking, manatees almost every day and a shark while fishing. The bikes were handy to get to the club house. All the restaurants in marathon are amazing and most give you an ocean view. We will be back!

Disappointed- lock on door, washing machine & ice maker BROKE!

Disappointed- lock on door, washing machine & ice maker BROKE! VRBO rental thru FL Keys Vacation Rentals/ Jessica Borraccino Mgr knew about broken issues & replied parts on order. Provided a stick to hold broken door shut. Sent counter top ice maker (needed a lot of attention to cycle ice from the machine to the freezer). Ms Borraccino said they would send a cleaner to pick up laundry (sensitive to animals/ fragrances- so this wouldn’t work for us & we had no idea if we would get our clothes back before we needed to leave). If we knew about this before our arrival we would have asked to be moved or cancel this reservation. Other issues; 3 foot long rip in screen, handle on screen door broke, screen door held closed by a bungee, TV had cable but only 6 channels (bring a Fire stick), no dining table inside, handle on Green Egg broke, grill full of grease (fire hazard- couldn’t use), no dish cloths/towels, not enough flatware. CHECKIN PROCESS WAS NOT NEEDED- I had to pickup a paper envelope with the door code printed on the outside of the envelope. The code could have been texted, emailed or called to me when the property was cleaned/ready. There was no need for me to go to the rental office to pick up this envelope. The envelope had my name, phone number and the property address & anyone could have opened the box and picked up my info. I planned this vacation months ago and feel these issues could’ve been avoided and/ or disclosed. I truly hope this property gets the much needed attention and another family isn’t inconvenienced. All guests must pick up the welcome packet, whether the house has a keyless entry or not, as the city requires the information in the packet to be on hand at the time of stay. Keys Fun

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks in this property. 5 star location, nice amenities. This property has no cable TV. The refrigerator ice maker quit working. This was reported to the property manager. The bar area is cramped. Not much decor in the unit. Could not give the unit a 5 star for those reasons. However great location and all other amenities very nice. I would stay in the unit again.

Lovely home

I loved everything, especially the beds and the coffee maker. The only thing that was lacking was paper towels and bit more cable. There were only 3-5 channels in English. We bought a Roku to make the living room tv pick up Netflix etc. (and took it home with us) Thank you again for a wonderful vacation. I will be referring my friends to stay at your home.

Adequate Home

This property looked like this would meet our families needs but fell short. Pros: The Big Green Egg and a gas grill was a nice bonus. The location was great. It looks like there are two kayaks for guest’s use but it wasn’t listed so we didn’t want to assume and didn’t use them. The Keurig makes great cappuccinos. The refrigerator was huge. The A/C didn’t need to be set lower than 76 to feel cool. Cons: Keys are a few miles from the property. A lockbox would be so much more efficient. The kitchen was missing basic tools such as kitchen spatulas. Missing were common appliances like a handmixer. The pans needed replaced. Mismatched plastic glassware and silverware were a minor inconvenience but was disappointing as all other properties in KCB had all of these amenities and more. Overall the property was clean. The a/c closet door and inside it were filthy. There was no broom or vacuum to clean with- we had to buy one and left it. They have TVs but the “cable” is absolutely a joke. Thank goodness we brought our chrome cast. Literally no basic channels. The porches’ closet was locked for owners use- understandable it just just a surprise. They have Coolaroo shades, which was nice, but the anchor needs replaced so they don’t blow around. Multiple lights are out in their strands of lights but there are enough to light up the porch. Overall it was an ok stay but we would not rent here again.

Great property

Fabulous location, the dock is great for fishing, house is lovely. Furniture is comfortable, kitchen is incredibly well stocked, and linens are high quality.

First time in keys

Half duplex was perfect for two couples. Loved the screened porch. Plenty of towels. Marathon was a great location to explore the keys.

Perfect house in a perfect place!

We loved this house! It was clean, nice appliances, super comfy mattresses and great shower heads! The surrounding non rental neighbors were very friendly and informative. The sights right off the dock were amazing! Manatee, manta Ray, jelly fish and lots of unique fish. I wish I could post a video to show how really cool it was. We loved the porch for late night Oceonopoly games or early morning coffee. The Cabana Club was also a great feature of this house. We had so much fun there and it was clean and friendly. Loved the waitstaff and all around organization to everything there. I could go on and on but I highly recommend this property! PS the local Publix grocery store (up the road from the rental office) had great prices so next time we wouldn’t get our groceries in Florida City ahead of time (we ended up throwing a lot away as we over purchased).

Great location

Great location, walking distance to Cabana Club with food and pool. There is nice restaurant and bar next to the Cabana Club called Havana Jacks with very friendly staff.. It is also an easy walk to pizza place, coffee shop, gift shop, marina and bait shop. My kids caught fish right from the dock in front of the house (best bait was the live shrimp). Very nice neighborhood and nice place to stay.

Rest and relaxation

When we walked in you can smell that it was sanitized! Everything was appealing to the eye, little things make me happy like how the towels were hanging in decorative fall! We both needed a much needed getaway and this was perfect! Cabana Club and sombrero beach was what the Dr ordered! We will be back next year! Thank you, Gail and Bob

Short walk to everything

Beach club was fantastic. The pier provided endless wildlife including a manatee visit. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils, pots and gadgets. Loved our 2 week stay.

Wonderful Stay

This was our first time in the keys. The property was exactly as described, very clean, well stocked, plenty of towels, and beds were comfy. The location was perfect. We were able to walk to the Cabana Club and Havana Jacks. We rented kayaks and put them in off of our dock. We hope to return next year!

Many upgrades

This property has many nice features - higher end appliances, Green Egg and gas grill, very attractive decor, screened porch. There is also plenty of outdoor seating/lounging/dining furnishings outside on the channel. Sunset Beach is a short walk away. Swim beaches are hard to come by in the Keys, but the Cabana Club offers a short stretch of beach, along with pool, hot tub, food and drink. Initially, there were a few communication glitches with Jessica, but they got worked out. She helped us find another property at the last minute when we decided to stay at extra week. Would highly recommend this property!

Excellent property, centrally located, very clean & well appointed

My husband & I stayed for a week in January 2021, but, there was plenty of room for 4. House was very clean, & well appointed. Neighborhood was beautiful & neighbors very friendly. , Comfortable beds, great pillows. Plenty of towels, & dishes. TWO grills, outdoor freezer (excellent for a day of fishing), nice screened in porch - with great morning breezes. Kitchen was well stocked with good appliances/utensils/pots & pans (only things missing were a cutting board & a broom, but, we made do). Rental agent even supplied us with a small amount of dry goods to start - tp, garbage bags, paper towels, hand sanitizer, dish & laundry soap, even masks - which was very nice & the perfect amount for 2 people. Beautiful view, great location - very central to everything Marathon or any Key day trip. Loved the use of the cabana club, pool, & small private beach - very clean, good service, nice deck chairs & umbrellas. Key Colony Inn (great food & service) & Sunset Beach (not to be missed) within walking distance. Nice little farmers market at the end of the street on Tuesday. We even caught the ice cream man one evening! We'd definitely stay again. Had a wonderful relaxing 50th birthday week away from the Northern Illinois blizzards. Could not have been more pleased at our choice! Thanks again.

Winter get-a-way

My adult children and I desparately needed a winter escape. We found exactly what we needed. The property was lovely. Appliances were very modern. The location was great. We enjoyed the pool and the private beach!
