About Scott Johnson
Hello, I’m Shirley, your host, and I would like to share a bit of the history of Arbor House Cottage. Arbor House was built in 1937 and has been in the family since 1958. My grandmother was the second owner. Though it wasn't called Arbor House then, it was simply a long term rental. My grandparents lived across the street in the corner house and I remember going to visit them and playing there. Being with them was very special to me and my siblings. After they passed, I lived there with my Mother and Father until I married and started my own family and after my mother passed, the cottage came to me. It is good to be able to go over from time to time, enjoy the beach and delicious restaurants and recall the wonderful memories!.....(note the picture on the wall in the dining room, it's not me but reminds me of myself as a child on the beach)..... Scott and I have put many long and loving hours into making Arbor House the warm and welcoming Cottage that it is today. So, 'welcome'....This is your home for the short time you are here. Enjoy, Relax and let your cares slip away. Sincerely, Shirley
