The Space:

Located on the shores of the Emerald Coast, SunDestin Beach Resort is in the perfect spot to enjoy everything Destin has to offer. There are many on-site amenities including an outdoor pool, outdoor hot tub, a fitness center, and more. Seasonal amenities include an outdoor tiki bar, and beach chair and umbrella rentals. Plus, the Scenic Stays team is always available at the 24-hour front desk.



SunDestin 1817 is a one-bedroom, one and half bath condo with a fantastic view. Upon entry, you’ll see the kitchen, dining and living areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meals and is bright and airy. There’s seating for four at the dining room table. The sofas in the living area are a great spot to wind down after a day exploring the Destin area. Get a DVD in the lobby to enjoy- they’re included in your stay. Through the sliding glass door is the balcony- it's the perfect place to enjoy sunsets and the coastline view of the Gulf of Mexico. The master bedroom can be accessed from the balcony and has a king-sized bed. Both bathrooms can be accessed from this room or the hall. There’s a sofa bed in the living room, so the condo sleeps four guests comfortably. This one-bedroom rental will easily become your favorite place to stay.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.



Less than five miles from SunDestin Beach Resort you'll find multiple golf courses, restaurants, and attractions. Spend a day off the sand at Big Kahuna’s Waterpark or The Track Destin- they’re both less than a mile from the resort. SunDestin 1817 is just steps to the Gulf of Mexico and is the place to create many memories- book your trip now!



Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, and outdoor pools, and the splash pad.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.

The property was going through renovations and the outdoor pool was closed, but our unit was perfect and the view from our balcony was fantastic! Beautiful sunsets and relaxing waves. The bed and pullout sofa were both comfortable and everything was very clean. Would recommend!!!

My perfect getaway

The resort is under updating construction ash’ and this was not a secret at all from the proper communication. I was informed a couple of times before my stay and I truly appreciated that. The location, hospitality, privacy, stay. Honestly I have nothing to complain about. I understood construction and when I come back next year I’ll appreciate the updates I get to experience. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was only due to the ongoing construction.

This condo has an awesome view on the 18th floor!! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The condo needs a little attention on a few items, the half bath faucet needs some attention some of the items that are battery controlled need replaced, not working, the toilet in the main bathroom kept running at times. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable!! We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend SunDestin.

Great location

Great location and view! However this unit is in need of some love the tub is slow to drain and numerous spots in the kitchen area where parts of the counter are missing, lamp shades that have splashes of something on them. My least favorite part was the check in where in order to get our parking permit they were trying to get us to join the Wyndham vacation group and view the timeshares. Overall the location and view were amazing just needs a little paint and care.

Thank you for a great stay!

The condo was clean and updated. Very comfortable. The view was amazing. Felt like we were on top of the world. Great location in Destin. The condo was quiet. We rented a free dvd, which was a really nice touch! Having two bathrooms was nice. The battery in the fire alarm went dead and started to chirp. Maintenance came to fix it in less than five minutes. Amazing and friendly service. Can’t wait to visit again really soon!

Everything was very good there the unit was plenty big enough for two people to stay. The kitchen cabinets some were not tight and they stayed open, toilet seat needs replaced, these are not big issues by any means just wouldn't hurt to be addressed for the future. All in all a very good unit and facilities very close to a very clean beach as well, after all that's what your there for mostly.
