Great location and pool!

My family of 4 just rented this unit and were very pleased with the location, being so close to the beach (we rented bikes from beach bums and they were delivered and ready when we got to the condo), we loved the pool and the atmosphere of the complex (feels European), and the condo itself was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The bay was only a block away and pine street with all the restaurants and shops was one road over. Perfect location for a beautiful beach stay. The restaurant at the end of the road and at the beach access was a great place to grab a drink and shrimp cocktails! Highly suggest this condo.

Overall this was a great place to stay. The location is great, close to many shops and restaurants as well as the trolley stops. The pool wasn’t always clean. There was construction next door during our stay which was pretty noisy and distracting. Amount of toiletries provided is minimal.

Very Pleasant Stay

I enjoyed staying in this unit and plan to come back in a few months. I had read reviews of the bed being in bad shape. They had already replaced it and it slept great!! The bathroom was very nice and spacious. This unit was very comfortable for me but would also serve a couple nicely. The outdoor area is very nice with a large pool, tiki hut sitting area, and a few grills for cooking out!

The only thing bad about our stay was the BED… it needs to be replaced ASAP !!! 2 people in the queen with both end up in the middle in a dip in the bed very uncomfortable and unable to get a good nights sleep.

we have stayed here five different times and it’s our usual go to place very conveniently located quiet and secluded our unit number 15 had a horrible mattress no even though they said they had spectrum for local channels so we had nothing to watch the shower pan looks like it’s ready to fall apart it really low water pressure it definitely looks like it needs some TLC

I am severely disappointed in our unit and the vacasa team as a whole. We were greeted by a broken toilet upon arrival and no plumber until I made multiple calls to management. Our first night of vacation was spent waiting with the plumber until the toilet was fixed and we cleaned up after the toilet was removed from the floor - a total of 4 hours. Each night was filled with little sleep due to paper thin walls and discomfort from a deteriorated mattress (the box springs literally touching the floor from the dip in the middle). Anna Maria Island is a beautiful and quaint place that we very much enjoyed and we plan on choosing anywhere else to stay the next time we visit.

Classic old Florida, with some issues

Well maintained classic old Florida resort. Basic, but nice, accommodation with a full kitchen, good TV and wifi and a nice pool. Laundry on site was a plus. Walking distance to beaches on both sides of the island and close to shops and restaurants. Two notable problems: 1) The bed had a mattress that sagged. Made for five nights of iffy sleeping. 2) There are 16 units on the property. Of those, 14 have a view of the pool, and two (including ours) overlooked an active construction site, complete with nail guns, hammers, drills and Mexican pop music blasting all day. Probably something that should have been disclosed before our stay. I’d stay here again in one of the other units, but the construction made our condo a disappointment. Also, from what I saw there is no Vacasa staff on site. Check in and check out was handled via text. All of it went fine, but if there was an issue, not having anyone on site would be a problem.

Great place and location but terrible management.

We got here and the unit was very clean. After checking in we went to get dinner as it was later and when we got back someone was in our parking spot (there is only 1 spot per unit with no guest or overflow parking). The person in the spot was eating dinner at the restaurant at the end of the street. Due to this we had nowhere to park for 2 hours. We contacted vacasa who contacted the property manager and we never heard back from them the entire trip. I would not recommend staying anywhere with only 1 parking space if the manager is not going to be available to call a tow truck. The other main issue was the bed. The mattress was so old that the center has a huge divot where its impossible to sleep comfortably. They definitely need to spend some money on a new mattress as the one in there has well outlived its usefulness.

Horrible!

The sleeper sofa had brown spots, sagging and springs poking through. We had to buy an airmatress to survive the 4 nights. Miserable to say the least! The AC Filter has not been changed in years it is covered in brown dust. Disgusting! The thermostat wouldnt allow us to go above 74 degrees and we were freezing all night. The shower was constantly flooding because the shower curtain was way to short. The fire alarm was not attached to the wall but inside a kitchen cabinet with the batteries removed. After numerous requests to be moved to another unit or get some additional blankets at the very least we were completely ignored by the local team. Nobody ever came to check on us or fix anything. Very disappointing!

Very nice!

Comfortable efficiency with just enough room. Very clean and well-appointed. In addition to the room, there was a nice Tiki seating area outside where you could visit or grill. The only two complaints we had were 1) the mattress bowed a bit in the middle. Probably needs to be replaced soon. 2) the porch light outside the bedroom would not turn off, making the room bright all night long.

Overall a good experience. The coffee pot was cracked and the smoke detector went off the morning of our departure. I think the batteries were low. No big deal but I tried contacting the property manager with no response for either issue. There is a door in the bedroom with a porch light outside that we could not turn off. The blinds on the door were insufficient to keep the light out. It was pretty bright inside the bedroom and we had to block the door window with a blanket. Otherwise it was great.

Bed is starting to show signs of age as it bows in the middle. Bathroom was small but manageable for just my husband & I. Called maintenance the 2nd day due to fridge not cooling. A very nice gentleman came & vacuumed the back & said “it’s just not a very good fridge”. He said, “It’s a motel fridge, not much I can do.” So, our drinks wouldnt stay cold & all the food we couldnt eat for fear it wasnt good anymore. Ice trays were there for us, but the ice still hadnt frozen after 3 days. All in all, the stay was nice. Check in/out was super easy & we like the no contact check in/out. Idk who manages the property itself but there was a couple driving around taking pics of cars & license plates which was a bit disturbing.
