Very cozy. Convenient. Clean.

The cottage was just as pictured. The owner was great getting back with me. Quick walk to Rod and Reel pier and to Bean Point. Limited car traffic. Plenty of folks walking their dogs. Good TV. Well equipped kitchen. Washer and dryer made for light packing. Good food is walking distance-- Rod and Reel, Poppo's, Two Scoops, Vinny and Cheryl's Italian... City park is close, as is the Trolley. City Pier, once reopened, is close. Never used the bikes, but there are 4 nice ones. Not sure about kayaks or boat, but you could take the provided rods, and fish the pier. Construction is going on all over the island, the house next door was no exception. So, there was the occasional power tool noise. Looks like the job will be done soon. We would stay again. Didn't want to leave.

Great Location, amenities, and accommodations.

This is by far the best Vacation Rental we have ever booked. The owner thought of everything. You can definitely tell that he takes pride in making sure his guests are taken care of have everything they need. We really liked having everything we needed in the kitchen. There were even tea bags and coffee. Also enjoyed having the frosted beer mugs in the freezer. Nice furnishings and comfortable beds. The bikes were also very nice high end bikes. We liked being so close to the Rod & Reel Pier. Great recommendations for things to do and places to eat it was greatly appreciated. He even double checked to make sure everything was ok during our stay. No owner has ever done that. Thanks again Captain Ed for sharing your place. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Cute Little Place

  • 4 of 5

This is a cute little place. Beaches and restaurants are within walking distance - from a few blocks to a mile or so - on all sides. Having the washer and dryer available is a big plus. We enjoyed our stay.

Exactly what we needed.

I spent my honeymoon here and it was fantastic! I got all the feels being back in this neighborhood and the house was great for the two of us. Ed was very responsive and gave pointers for fishing. The decor was awesome and the king size bed was the best part of the trip after such a whirlwind of a wedding. The rod n reel is so close and heading to bean point on the bikes took no time at all. LITERALLY the only thing that someone looking to rent this place should be wary of is that there is a lot of construction going on next door and it starts early. But, all this means is you should get up with the noise and go explore the "awesomeness" that is Anna Maria. Overall, the place was the best and will definitely be re-booking the next time I'm down there!

Great location on AMI

1 and a half blocks from Rod N Reel Pier where you can watch the sunrise over Tampa Bay. And several blocks from the Gulf. We enjoyed the nice bikes on the property. The kitchen and bath were very clean and the owner was super easy to work with.
