  • Second Stay

"This was our second stay at the house and their care and attention is evident, The deck furniture had been replaced since last year. We enjoy staying here so much. Even during the hottest Florida days, the shade of the trees in the back combined with the breeze off the bay make this such an enjoyable spot to just sit and talk while watching dolphins or an occasional manatee. It is very well situated within walking distance to either pier. Sunsets at Bean point should not be missed. It takes 5-10 minutes to stroll to Bean Point. The house is very clean and well maintained. The decorations are very nice and tastefully done in a fun beach style. This is our second year here and have already booked next year. Great place for families."

  • House exceeded expectations, super cute!

"We loved the house! the house was perfect; the pictures are great but the house is even better than the pictures. The yard, porch, patio and pool are above excellent. When we cooked diner on the side patio shaded by a tree filled with lights, blooming orchids and staghorn ferns, we felt like we had our own oasis. The house was immaculate, comfortable, and had absolutely everything we could have wanted. It's a stone's throw from the beach that has the finest white sand I've ever seen. Being so close you just can't afford to miss the perfect sunset every day. This is the first time we rented a house. Our hope was to find a nice clean place that we could enjoy. Ultimately we wanted it to be relaxing. This house gave us all of that and more. The neighborhood is filled with all new homes the prettiest on Anna Maria Island, but the tangerine house is the cutest of all. The google street view is old taken during construction of the houses across the street. Those houses are now at least 2 years old and cost over a million dollars each. We looked at the house 4 sale 2doors down the road $1.6 million ( Suzann you should show photos of the neighborhood) This property was the perfect vacation spot! Loved it! This really was a special vacation. The island was a hidden treasure. We traditionally stay in a hotel on the Atlantic side of Florida; this island has changed our mind."

  • Really torn on how to review this property.

"If I give this house the review it deserves it will be more popular and may be harder for me to get in the future. Plenty of room for family and friends. Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of clean towels and linens if needed. Washer and dryer for extra convenience. Nice pool and back yard area. A short walk to the beach and shops and restaurants and bars. The biggest draw back is the traffic during peak hours getting on and off Anna Maria Island. But that I suppose is a function of being on an island. I suggest doing your grocery shopping off the island at the Publix on Manatee Ave or at the Winn Dixie on Cortez rd. Less crowds and lower prices than on the island. We are already talking with our kids about another family vacation there next year. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxed Florida vacation."
