  • The Perfect Location for a Family Gathering!

"My Wife and I, invited my 4 adult children and their families to spend a week on Anna Maria Island. The location was great we were a few blocks from the beach, we had our own pier with a boat, we were a few miles from the downtown and shopping. The inground pool and hot tub were constantly used. You had privacy on all sides because of the lush landscaping. My oldest son, his wife and 3 children used the lower level for their family, they had privacy and their own space. Upstairs it was an open floorplan with a large breakfast bar and kitchen so we could share cooking for those large family dinners. Just outside is a screened deck, perfect for a family meal. All of the rooms and baths were generous in size. The home was designed for families that are in and out constantly from the water (boat, beach & pool. We did a sunset kayak cruise for the entire family that was amazing. Everyone, no matter what their age or interests found things to do every day. I want to compliment our generous Host, Matt King. He took us out on the boat and showed us the waterway and made sure we were comfortable and confident. He met us when we arrived and checked in with us during the week to make sure we were having a stress free week. He also gave us the best place to go for Seafood on the Island, The Star Fish Company, you would never know about it if you weren't a local. They are literally taking fish off the boats and preparing amazing meals. I would strongly recommend this home for large family gatherings. When we vacation in Florida we will definitely book this home again on Anna Maria Island. It was a great bonding experience for our family."

  • Brilliant getaway

"We spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week at Chris's lovely condo. It had everything we needed for our family, well equipped, very clean with what looked like a brand new fridge freezer. The condo is excellently positioned for adventuring round the top of the island and with the bike hire shop being just along the road all your island transport needs are met. Chris was in touch with us all through our booking and even wrote to inform us of the street festival taking place on our day of arrival. To eat there are excellent restaurants within easy walking distance of the condo but our favourite was Poppo's Taqueria that provides take out mexican food; the kids and adults loved it. We will be back thats for sure, the whole AMI feeling is just magical and the condo really helps to start that relaxing holiday from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave."

  • Home Sweet Beach Home

"Returning to Beachlovers for a two week stay this time truly felt like we were coming home again. All of the amazing features we remembered like the screened in pool area, upper porch, bikes, beach amenities, spacious living room/kitchen and game room made our stay a pleasure. This lovely place was home to our adult children, spouses and three grandchildren, ages 6 months - 5 years. We cherish the quality time and family bonding that we shared. The uncrowded Gulf beach is such a delight with magnificent sunsets. Our group walked around Bean Point to view the sunrise and collect shells. Firsts this time included a ride on the Trolley to the Bridge Street shops and renting a golf cart to explore the beautiful neighborhood and pier area. Side trips to Mote Aquarium, The Ringling and St. Armand's Circle were fun too. Beachlovers is a treasure and we look forward to returning to our beach home away from home!"

  • Perfect Getaway

"I surprised my husband for our 18th anniversary with a trip to Florida. I chose this cottage because it seemed cozy and quaint. Little did I know that it would greatly exceed my expectations. We loved the decor, location, size, patio, and all the little details that were thought of right down to the colored marbles scattered throughout the crushed shell "gravel" outside. Adele is very friendly & accommodating and made it easy to want to come back. This little gem is just 2 doors down from a general store with a deli and steps away from boutique shopping. We loved the availability of the bikes (which we made extensive use of!) and kayaks (which we'll have to get to next time!). We enjoyed long walks on the beach and spending quality time together while feeling at home. We were impressed with the availability of FREE public transportation around the island, but didn't take advantage. The cottage is smack in the middle of the historic district of Anna Maria Island with the oldest church on the island directly across the street. Overall, we couldn't be more happy with our stay. Twin Palms is the perfect getaway that is close to everything you'll ever need for an island vacation. P.S. be sure to check out the free museum just a couple blocks away to learn the fascinating history of Anna Maria Island."
