  • Breathtaking view! Perfect vacation!

"This is the first time we have stayed at Shirley's Way and I can't say enough about how much we have enjoyed it. From the minute we stepped onto the porch we were in awe of the gorgeous view. The house was perfectly clean and cozy. We have felt at home the entire week. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The beds and furniture are comfortable. The house is stocked with beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We would most definitely recommend Shirley's Way if you are looking for a home away from home with a beautiful beach right outside your door. The sunsets are amazing and can be seen from anywhere in the house. We have truly had a perfect vacation."

  • VIP Experience

"This property made us all feel like celebrities! Breathtaking views of the bay and the Rod and Reel Pier. Both the interior and exterior were beautiful. The only problem was trying to choose between the relaxing pool/patio area at the front and the stunning ocean views and wildlife at the back. We saw lots of fish, birds, crabs and other sea creatures. We were also treated to several dolphin shows from the patio as they swam by hunting for dinner. The huge sliding doors that can be completely opened to the ocean view were a big plus. We watched the sunrise on the beach in our pj's while drinking coffee every morning and walked the beach to Bean Point for sunset every night. It is a short walk or bike ride to shopping and many amazing restaurants. Definitely a good idea to saunter over to the Rod and Reel Pier for breakfast or to the City Pier for dinner. Definitely plan a visit. You will not regret it!"

  • Paradise at Twin Palms

"We spent 5 nights at Twin Palms and wished we had booked for longer. Never booking a private property in the US before we were a little anxious but from first contact with Adele we were put at ease and the pictures of this charming cottage on the VRBO site are a true reflection of what to expect for a completely relaxing holiday. The cottage is well appointed and much more spacious than we thought it would be with plenty of room both indoors and out. Adele, Crit and Greta are so welcoming and easy going, the cottage is well equipped with many extras such as beach chairs, bikes, kayaks all available for guests to use. The location is a 1 minute walk to the main Anna Maria Pier at North Island and also where the free trolley bus picks up and you can ride to the southern tip of this island approximately 1/2 hour each way and discover Holmes Beach, Manatee beach and other places of interest. On our return the first evening to one of the many restaurants within walking distance the private patio to the cottage is lit up with coloured fairy lights and a garden water feature bubbling away makes for an ideal place to sit and read, have a drink and just chill. We are so pleased we stayed here and would highly recommend the cottage, the location and thank you Adele for making the whole booking process easy. We will see you again."

  • Look no further !!!

"This home is a great place to spend your vacation. Howard put in a lot of hard work to make this a home away from home and made sure you will have everything you need. It was very clean and we did not see any bugs. A few Salamanders but that was to be expected. Gas grill in the back yard with a spare tank in the garage. Full size laundry in the garage, no little apartment size appliances here. Full size refrigerator, 4 beach chairs and a pull cart to lug everything to the beach. The beach is a short walk, however when you get to the soft sand it's a workout pulling the cart the rest of the way to the beach. Bikes are a nice way of getting around for exercise and cruising to the fishing pier for breakfast. We had a great time and you will to."
