  • Amazing and relaxing

"Stephanie was great to rent from. The home was very clean and comfy. The views are great. The pictures don't do them justice. Extremely short walk to the beach. It was like having our own private beach. The island is quiet and so relaxing. We will definitely be returning."

  • Great extended family gathering place

"The house was impressive and well furnished. There was room for our large family plus some extended family to spend time together and sleep comfortably. The pool was great to have in addition to the beach near-by. We enjoyed biking around what is basically the cute downtown area of Anna-Maria. The Publix grocery store is a few minutes away by car. The location was wonderful. The trade-off to having such a nice home to stay in is that I was nervous about getting sand on the hardwood floors or letting the kids come inside with wet swimsuits. But, we all enjoyed our stay and the kids and adults were grateful for it."

  • Paradise at Twin Palms

"We spent 5 nights at Twin Palms and wished we had booked for longer. Never booking a private property in the US before we were a little anxious but from first contact with Adele we were put at ease and the pictures of this charming cottage on the VRBO site are a true reflection of what to expect for a completely relaxing holiday. The cottage is well appointed and much more spacious than we thought it would be with plenty of room both indoors and out. Adele, Crit and Greta are so welcoming and easy going, the cottage is well equipped with many extras such as beach chairs, bikes, kayaks all available for guests to use. The location is a 1 minute walk to the main Anna Maria Pier at North Island and also where the free trolley bus picks up and you can ride to the southern tip of this island approximately 1/2 hour each way and discover Holmes Beach, Manatee beach and other places of interest. On our return the first evening to one of the many restaurants within walking distance the private patio to the cottage is lit up with coloured fairy lights and a garden water feature bubbling away makes for an ideal place to sit and read, have a drink and just chill. We are so pleased we stayed here and would highly recommend the cottage, the location and thank you Adele for making the whole booking process easy. We will see you again."

  • Exceeded Our Expectations

"Just returned from our vacation week. So many great things have been said before and I agree with all of them. The inside of the house was very clean and had everything you would ever need including all pots and pans, a bullet for making frozen drinks and a juicer for making fresh orange juice. The top floor is just the master bedroom and suite so is very private. You have access to a double garage for storing anything that might need locked up. Inside the garage are four beach cruiser bikes and a child's 18" bike. She provides everything for the beach such as several beach umbrellas, numerous chairs, boogie boards, skim boards and a huge wagon to pull it all with. The backyard feels like a resort with all of the landscaping and the pool. If you need to stay out of the sun like we do, there is always shade on one side of the property because how tall the trees are. The dock is great if you have any fisherman in your group and you can launch kayaks off the side of the dock with the kayak launcher that moves up and down with the tide. The beach is a close walk toward the gulf side, we rode bikes to the two piers on the bay side and there are many businesses close by on Pine St. The first morning we were there, I went to Jinny and Janes and surprised our kids with the biggest cinnamon rolls I have ever seen (and they were delicious). This was our first time on the island, but you simply can't go wrong staying here."
