  • nice little place!

"The apartment is right across private beach which made it super wonderful. The bus stop is around the front of the building so easy access to the island on the free shuttle which takes you from one end to the other end of the Island. We were able to walk just blocks to all the restaurants and little shops, etc. At the north end of the island was our favorite ice cream place and the pier was nice. There's a little sitting/viewing area around to the right of the apartment, very nice to watch sunsets. Overall we loved the island and you don't need a car if staying on the island. The apartment is nice and comfortable. We needed to buy a small blender for morning shakes as there was none. Our daughters bed was broken but functional and worked out. The reason for the 4 stars mainly is there is no WiFi. That was crucial for us and I had confirmed that there would be. There was nothing, and it was crucial for my husband to do Buisiness. The clubhouse had none either. We even tried to see how we can purchase it, apparently they go through flamingo services band not all works well. That was very frustrating for my husband, he ended up going to the library on the shuttle when he needed access. Carol was easy to communicate with and responded promptly always. The WiFi would make it us not able to stay there again. Other than that if you don't need WiFi access you would very well enjoy this place the pool is a skip away and on the way to the beach."

  • Another fantastic stay!

"My friends and I went back for our third wonderful stay at this perfect cottage on Anna Maria Island. As always, it's immaculately clean, and Stephanie is a pleasure to deal with. We cooked fantastic meals and went out for terrific meals as well. Try a kayak tour with the Happy Paddler (they are excellent). We have already reserved for next year!"

  • Ideal place

"Recently remodeled with granite counters and everything you could possibly need. Absolutely beautiful location. You can watch the sunrise on the back screened in porch over the intercoastal and sunsets across the street on the beach. Once you're there, no need for a car, since you can ride the Anna Maria bus for free. Close to Cortez, so easy to see sites close to Anna Maria in Sarasota/Bradenton area like Ringling museum, etc. lots to see and do in the area. Loved the paved trail across the street ..,great for biking or walking in a shaded area next to the water."

  • Great Location...

"This property is in a great location. You have restaurants and a grocery store very close and at the end of the street you can hop on the Trolly and ride around the island. It's really nice also that you walk out the door and it's just a short walk out to the beach. The house is spacious, there was plenty of room for our family of 4. But there are some things that could use some work. The beds are very uncomfortable but it could be an easy fix with a decent mattress pad put on top. The pillows are really thin and there were not enough of them. I had one child that didn't get a pillow and used a rolled up towel. This was also an instance where I'm glad my children travel with blankets because they needed them. There are things in the house that could use some updating but overall the place is clean."
