Family Vacation

2nd time staying at this property and it was just as great as the first time. Love the location and the amenities are fabulous. Can't wait to go back!

Best Vacation Ever!

Plenty of room, great location. Mark was super, came whenever we texed him. Would definitely stay there again. A little pricey though.

Great location to be right in the middle of all the fun. Shopping close, awesome restaurants, grocery store within walking. My family and I will book this property anytime we visit Key West!

another perfect stay

We have stayed here now at least a few years in a row, and it continues to be wonderful. You cannot beat the location for convenience and to enjoy the music from next door at Willy T's. We love sitting on the balcony overlooking Duval Street and taking in all of those sights and sounds from the comfort of home! Sun is plenty on the rooftop patio, while the pool stays mostly shaded. Parking is easy, and the owner and property manager are both delightful. The music next door can be loud at night, but we (mostly) find that to be a plus.

Perfect spot to experience Duval street

This is our second time staying here and it’s always perfect. It’s in a great spot right in the middle of Duval. We had a couple who never stayed in Key West and this is perfect for them to experience Key West! Mark is very responsive and always helps out. You won’t be disappointed with this house

Nice stay on Duvall Street

Our stay on Duval street was great.The home is very nice and perfect location if you want to be involved in all activities on Duval and downtown.The only thing i would recommend would be access to pool heater as pool was not warm and not very comfortable at night.I wuld highly recommend staying in this home

Extremely Central extremely private

This is a real gem in the heart of Key West, in a total privacy setting. Everything is as described, or better. Well equipped kitchen, nice large rooms, nice bathrooms, nice pool, nice everything. We'll be back for sure.

Great gem in Key West

We had a great time at the Downtown Penthouse. Right on Duvall but about 2 blocks South of the major bar space. We enjoyed our time on the decks, in the pool, and out and about on Duval. Don't worry about a car and enjoy the walking or rent a cart/bike if needed. Everything as advertised in our opinion and we would recommend giving this place a try.

Gorgeous penthouse in the heart of all Key West!

This property was even more beautiful in person. The place was spotless, comfortable furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, lots of towels. Right behind Duvall Street, so all that Key West has to offer was within walking distance. Lots of outdoor space, with plenty of porches as well as the lovely pool area. Lots of space to stretch out! Mark was very responsive to any inquiries, but really we had no issues at all. It is above Willie T’s bar, so it’s nice to have white noise machines in the bedrooms. Overall we found the music enjoyable while we were on the porches - pleasant background but we could have a conversation. Sunday afternoon was really nice with some acoustic guitar while I was reading a book. We would highly recommend this property and we would definitely book again!

Key west 2023

Great stay, rental was all we could have hoped for. We had extra guests and the property owner went out of his way to accommodate. Relatively quiet section of Duval but action very close walking distance. Shops, restaurants, music all within a few minutes. Home was spacious for 10 guests to spread out and not be on top of each other. Many decks off to all sides to hang out. Prior reviews speak of noise from street but we found generally quiet by midnight on most nights but we thought the music from Willie Ts below was awesome to fall asleep to. The pool was a bonus coming back to on a hot afternoon or after partying late into the night I would definitely rent again. Ty Mark for a great first key west experience.

To be continued...

Due to the pandemic and the Keys being closed to non-residents we were not able to travel during our originally booked travel dates. Even so, I felt that it was appropriate to leave a review so that potential guests know what kind of host they will be dealing with. In a word, Mark is AWESOME! Mark was very gracious in allowing us to re-schedule our travel dates even though we were already outside of the change/cancellation window. There have been so many horror stories about folks having to deal with unaccommodating owners during this unprecedented time that it was a relief to not have those worries in dealing with Mark. As such, there is no doubt in my mind that our eventual stay at his property in Key West will be a top notch experience. Cheers to you Mark and we look forward to seeing you in September!

Fantastic location! Central to everything. We were able to walk everywhere. The home is well appointed, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Having beach towels available was an added plus. Dream kitchen with Viking appliances and the dual pot/k-cup coffee maker made our coffee drinkers happy. Mark was so easy to work with, too! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Duval Street Penthouse was awesome! The location was perfect for walking to many locations. Our host Mark was quick to respond upon check-in with a few minor concerns that were addressed. We enjoyed the daily music from Willie Ts bar next-door and the concerns of not being able to sleep were not an issue. We would recommend a stay a Duval st Penthouse.

Key West Visit

The location of the property is great. It is a short walk to many of the Key West attractions and restaurants. The off street parking is terrific. The late night music from Willie T’s was a little annoying.FYI, there was an issue with the check in process. We thought we were going to meet the owner at 4pm and the owner thought that VRBO was going to send us the access code via email.

Duval Street Location

Location cannot be beat. You are in the thick of it. Next to Willie T’s in fact overlooking. Noise was not an issue for us. You can walk the entire area. Close to store, liquor, shops. Great house. Careful of that last step in the stairs-it sneaks up. Pool was just the right size. Communication with Mark was awesome! Fantastic outdoor space. Everything you could need to cook or make cocktails.
