Unfit listing
Booked for one night only. We were just planning on dinner and some rest before traveling to our final destination the next day. The neighborhood is extremely run down. And the only parking available is on the street. When we arrived there was nowhere to park within blocks of the apartment. We called the rep for the listing and she didn’t have any alternative options for parking when we asked. So I illegally parked temporarily across the street and went inside the unit to check it out, thinking we would probably put up with a long walk from our parking place if the inside was acceptable. It is not. The smell of mothballs was so strong it made me sick to my stomach just standing in there for 3 minutes. There is no way I would sleep there. So we left. I emailed the actual person who listed the property and informed them that we were not staying, and that the accommodations were unacceptable and expected at least half of our money back. You’d think that if you owned a place where there was no guarantee for parking and that it smelled so horrible it couldn’t be stomached you would think what I asked for was reasonable. I have emailed Danny multiple times since with no response. It looks as though this listing is a scam for anyone that expects reasonable accommodations or service.
