Private home with huge patio overhanging Orange Lake. Private dock with kayak, two large stand up paddle boards, toys, water, sun, fishing poles and peace & quiet. Come wintertime, the lake turns into a winter wonderland for ice skating, ice fishing and iceboat racing. Bring your slippers and hot chocolate!
This home is new construction in 2020, high ceilings and spacious rooms surrounded by lake views. House features a outdoor pergola covered lounge area with flagstone patio and fire pit. One hour from Manhattan... yes, for real!
Orange Lake is a private lake and does not allow outside boats. It is pet friendly and relaxed neighborhood. The lake is quiet and never busy with boats. It is busy with paddle boards, children and laughter in the air. Enjoy a sunset walk around the circle, or paddle board across the lake for a cocktail at the famous Lakeview House. I always feel like I'm on vacation in this home.

Very cool place!

Fabulous lake front stay

Such a perfect location for a mini vacation as we visited family in the area. This home was so comfortable, clean, functional, beautifully decorated and gave us a luxurious break while visiting family and friends in the area. This property was the perfect place for us to stay while in town for Christmas. It is practically brand new and spotless appointed with all you need for a weekend away. The beds were comfortable and the towels and linens are of great quality. Bonus is it is right on the lake with a peaceful view. We hope to be back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors!

This home is so lovingly arranged and cared for. From the moment we walked in, we felt at ease. It's location on the lake is simply stunning- we watched the sunrise reflected in the lake, saw all kinds of birds, and just felt the tranquility of the surroundings everywhere we looked. It is clear that the owner loves this home and takes a lot of pride in caring for it. Everything was clean and comfortable and inviting. The location was fantastic for daytrips to Storm King and DIA Beacon too. We had a wonderful stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. We will look forward to going back!

Christmas on the lake

We had a magical time in the lake house. Everything was perfect even though the weather was only 6 - 10 degrees! The house was very well appointed and comfortable. The lounger in the living room was the favorite seat in the house! Rhona was great with keeping in touch with us from start to finish.

Best day ever? 80 degrees, Bon Jovi, coffee, and SKI on Orange Lake...and do it again later..cold brew and Motley Crew..got to switch it up

Why they chose this property

I was in the area looking for a good afternoon brunch spot and came upon The Lake View House. A boat went by pulling a skier. I went right to Zillow and found this hideous, dilapidated, condemned palace on the water. Bought it immediately. Was hoping for a renovation until we discovered it hand no foundation whatsoever. The rest is history.
