Cozy Cottage 500 Yards to Main Beach

Come enjoy our cozy lake cottage just a few blocks from New Providence Beach. Treasure Lake is a beautiful, safe, gated community with so much to offer. It only takes a few minutes to walk to enjoy the sand, water, playgrounds, volleyball courts and snack shack during the summer! (Lifeguards from Memorial Day to Labor Day)

Our cottage has a large wrap around deck with a partial lake view. Enjoy the afternoon sun on our deck furniture, or grill out on our charcoal grill after a fun day at the beach. You will have access to a tennis court, basketball courts, and two golf courses. You can eat outside enjoying the beautiful surroundings at a 6 person outdoor dinner table, or eat inside our open concept kitchen/ living room at the 5 person dining room table.

There are two bedrooms at our cottage that have both been completely renovated with new flooring, closets, paint, and trim. Look out the window of the master bedroom to see the lake while laying on a memory foam king mattress with fresh linens.

Our living room has a huge, comfortable sectional couch, a 65" Smart TV, a coffee table and end tables and a bookshelf full of books, puzzles, and games for you to enjoy during your stay.

Our kitchen is stocked with all the essentials you need to cook for the week, We have a dishwasher, microwave, oven with stove top range, a keurig coffee maker, and a regular drip coffee maker. The kitchen is filled with pots and pans, baking sheets and dishes, mixing bowls, utensils, towels, oven mitts, knives and all dishes. Our kitchen will include a set of basic spices, oils and vinegars for your use during the week.

The full bathroom is on the main floor of the cottage and has a vanity, a mirror, and full bath/ shower. The half bathroom is in the unfinished basement along with a washer and dryer for your use during the week.

If you need more sleeping space there is a queen Murphy bed with memory foam mattress and linens in the entry room to the house. If you use the Murphy bed we ask that you strip the linens at the end of the week and put the bed back in place. (It takes two people to lift bed and our cleaning lady cannot do this on her own). We also have a queen air mattress that can be used for extra guests!

House includes a gigabit Wifi.

Treasure Lake is a beautiful community with tons of amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable for people with a variety of interests. New Providence Beach is just a quick 5 minute walk away! Enjoy the use of our kayaks to spend time on the water or rent kayaks or canoes at the marina.

Grandsons 1st birthday

How was just as described. I can only recommend 1 thing, king room would be better with a ceiling fan or a pedestal oscillating fan. Everything was clean, towels were amazing. Could also use a broom or a smaller vac to clean up the tree dropping that got stuck to your shoes, sorry i like a clean house. We will rent again.

Just what we needed

Cozy Stay

I booked my stay because my husband was having cardiac surgery and I needed to be near the hospital. My stay at the cottage was perfect. It had everything I needed to rest and relax during this stressful time. The cottage was neat and very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and it was well stocked with just about everything you could need. Paul could not have been nicer. It was wonderful to rent from him. If you are in need of a rental in Treasure Lake, this is the place for you. It will not disappoint. Thank you, Paul. I really appreciate you and your kindness.

Enjoyable stay over Thanksgiving

My husband and I stayed here for a few days over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen is well stocked as I was doing some cooking and baking for several family dinners. I brought measuring cups/spoons and bakeware with me as I never trust a rental to have these things. I was very happy to find that this home had everything that I needed including a crockpot. We had some snow while we were there, and I appreciated that there was some ice melt there for us as the steps and sidewalks would have been slippery without that. There was a minor issue which the owner took care of very quickly. Communication was easy before and during our stay. Beds were comfy as is the sectional in the living room in front of the big screen TV.

Cozy lake view home!

Nice lake view home a short distance from the beach. The kids loved the beach and playground. The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The host was very helpful and pleasant to communicate with. Definitely would stay again!

Perfect Getaway

My family needed a place to stay for a family gathering in the area. We didn't want to be crowded in a hotel room with the four of us so we looked for a Vrbo. This was the perfect spot for us. The cottage was clean, updated, and felt very roomy. The host was responsive and took care of everything for us with ease and communication. We definitely would recommend staying here and in the future if we need a place to stay this will be our go too!

A relaxing getaway with the kids

Property was as described. We really enjoyed games in the living area. The beach and pool were great! It was also close to restaurants and family friendly attractions. Our kids had a blast.

This property has all that you need to be comfortable

As the TV show Lakehouse Rules says, be our guest...this host took everything to heart...making sure you have what you need at your fingertips to make our stay was comfortable and convenient. Games, outdoor grill, plenty of dishes, cups, glasses, bakeware, spices, oils, washer and dryer, etc! WiFi was excellent. Host was super responsive to our questions. The deer came right into the yard. Great view of the lake. We would come back here again. Maybe this fall. Thanks Paul for the hospitality!!!

Family fun!

Our family had such a wonderful vacation at Treasure Lake. The area was quiet & restful (& there were so many deer to watch!) The house was perfect & clean & so comfy. (Seriously, the mattresses were so comfy I slept better than at home!) The house was stocked with everything we needed & more. We didn’t really need to contact Paul about anything because everything was so organized & prepared. Any contact we had received a prompt & courteous response. We enjoyed nearby attractions such as elk viewing & hiking at bilgers rocks. We visited some nearby towns. Eating at Luigis is a must! Thank you Paul, for a wonderful vacation!

Great house at the lake

My husband and I were in town for a wedding and to visit family. We stayed here for a week and found the house to be well-stocked and comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed. Beds are comfy. Great big screen TV in the living room. It was very clean and newly renovated. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the boats on the lake. The neighborhood is quiet. It takes about 10 minutes to get into town. You can only enter via front security gate, but can either leave through the front or back gate. Watch out for all the deer crossing the roads! It’s an easy couple minute walk to the beach/ playground. Communicating with the owner was easy, and he always responded promptly. We had no issues after check in at all. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Perfect

The rental process was flawless on arrival and exit. Paul was quick to respond whenever we contacted him. The house was clean, cozy and a 2 minute walk to the beach portion of the lake. The kitchen contained all the necessities of home. The beds were incredibly comfortable and there were plenty of blankets for the cool nights. The shower water was hot and the towels were fluffy. The washer, dryer and 1/2 bathroom in the basement were a bonus. We enjoyed taking in the beautiful scenery while relaxing on the deck with our dog. I am an RN on my 1st travel assignment. While the house was rented because it was close to the hospital, It made me feel like I was on vacation the moment my shift ended. My husband and I agree…we wish we could’ve stayed there for my entire 13 week assignment. Thank you so much for letting us stay at your adorable lakeside home!

Great home, great host, so much to do in the area

We had a wonderful visit even though we had some CRAZY PA spring weather (80 deg one day and snow/ice the next!) The beach/playground area is a 5 minute walk from the house (we brought our collapsible wagon - I don't think they had one at the house so I'd def recommend bringing one) and there is a lot to do in the DuBois area - we visited so many different state parks and even went to see Punxatawney Phil. The host was very responsive and super friendly to deal with - the house was well-kept and had almost everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We had a great time and will definitely be back again (hopefully in better weather to enjoy the beach a bit more!) Side note - you can't come in the "back gate", only the front, but you can leave out of the back gate. If you leave out of the back gate, a word of caution - turn left onto Clear Run Rd (if it is open - there was a detour) instead of driving on Gamelands Rd as it is a bumpy dirt/gravel road to get to US219. Thanks again, Paul!!!

Enjoyable time at Cozy Cottage

We had an enjoyable time at the Cozy Cottage! Very nice, newly renovated, and clean. I found the bedrooms and living room to be spacious with a well stocked kitchen with lots of counter space. The owner was nice and responsive to messages. There is no yard, but we enjoyed swimming in the pool and lake, and playing at the play ground. We also visited Farmers Inn (a 30 min. drive), which has a zoo, mini-golf, and a restaurant. I would stay at Cozy Cottage again!

Family Reunion

This cozy cottage is perfect for a small family or a couple's get away. The house is nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need for your stay. Location to the main beach is a real plus. Paul was great to work with and did everything everything to make sure our stay was wonderful!
