1 StarWe cannot recommend this property based on our experience.During our stay, the home was broken into and cash was stolen. A police report was filed, and there was evidence of forced entry.What was especially concerning was that, after the burglary, both local law enforcement and the property manager independently informed us that burglaries targeting vacation rentals in the area are a known issue, often occurring around dinner time or sunset when guests are away from the property. Learning this after the fact was alarming.We also observed security concerns at the property, including open-air windows large enough for a person to enter through and a damaged fence. We did not feel the listing adequately communicated these features or the security considerations they presented.Following the incident, we attempted to work directly with the hosts to reach a reasonable resolution but were unsuccessful.We understand that property owners cannot prevent all criminal activity. However, given the known concerns in the area, the security features of the property, and the lack of resolution after a burglary occurred during our stay, we feel future guests should be fully informed and carefully consider whether the property’s security measures meet their expectations.Unfortunately, this experience turned what should have been a relaxing vacation into a stressful and costly ordeal, and we would not stay here
