You'll find this resort high-rise three-quarters of a mile west of Pier Park, which is home to 124 stores, great restaurants, a Grand IMAX movie theater, and the Aaron Bessant Amphitheater (the host of the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, Unwined, and a summer concert series). You can stroll along the Russell-Fields Pier (three-quarters of a mile east), take in a wildlife show at Gulf World (one mile east), or drive 11 miles east to spectacular St. Andrews State Park for the day. Frank Brown Park is one mile north as well, and hosts Gulf Coast Jam every Labor Day weekend.

Winter Getaway

This property had everything that we needed for our 7 week winter stay. We love the Tidewater resort building. The management company was always thinking about our safety through the storms that popped up during our stay.

Almost Perfect Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Positives- Perfect view of the beach. Updated clean condo Walking distance to the pierNegatives (but no big deal)Elevators are super slow and over crowded. Long wait at times. Dryer needs work Beds are not super comfortable but we were so exhausted each day it didn’t matter Overall 5 stars. Great place to stay will definitely return!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was awful. The condo was nice, clean and in a good location. The elevators were slow not always working and we have a wait less than 15mins the most of the time we had over 30min waits on the elevator. Security was nice to me and my wife, but rude to my kids.

Nice condo room

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The room was very nice and clean. Unfortunately, the Tidewater building itself is not good. The wait for an elevator was ridiculous and most times we took the hot stairs up and down. The beach is mostly occupied by their chairs and umbrella's. We could only set up in the wet sand. The staff would harass certain families but then let other people stay where they were. It is too bad that this nice room is in such a bad building. I will not go to Tidewater again.

Beautifully decorated and convenient Condo for Family

Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfect for my family and grandbabies, total of 7, each person had their own space and the view was breathtaking, everything we needed was right there. The staff was great and management company made it easy for arrival and departure. Only disadvantage was the elevators, but they are working to make them more efficient, would definitely stay at this property again

We loved our stay!

Reviewer Comments: The rental company was very easy to deal with, and they sent very detailed instructions for checking in, checking out, rules of the condo, parking, etc. Communication was easy. We had no need to contact them during our stay, as everything was great! We will book with Four Star Condos again!

Beautiful Condo on 8th floor.

This condo has an amazing view of the ocean. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The only thing lacking was a corkscrew, so if you are a wine drinker, bring one! All the reviews say the elevators are horrible, we had no problem at all. The longest we waited was maybe 5 minutes. We hope to rent this same unit again next year.

Nice Location, Disappointed in condition

Overall the Condo Unit was nice. I was disappointed in how dirty the floors were. The back door lock was broken and I never received a call back from the management company. Neither or the indoor hot tubs were working, we weren't allowed to use the indoor pool and a lot of the the exercise equipment is very rusted/broken.

Elevators were a nightmare. Condo had sandy all over the floor when we checked it.

Elevator vacation! They were awful, we waited sometimes an hour to get on and when we did we were packed in like sardines. Condo was nice and as described but the floors were dirty, they had sand all over them. Will not stay at Tidewater again because of the elevators.

Nice place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great. The condo is located close to Pier Park and the promenade/mall. So close, you can walk for 15-20 minutes by sea/road or drive about 5 minutes. We did not find any cork opener inside the kitchen, so ask the owner or bring your own. We would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Great place to stay

Condo exceptionally clean and very well stocked. Close to attractions. Elevators not near as bad as prior reviews. Had to wait during peak hours but if you use the elevators on the building's ends, they moved faster. Overall, good time and would/will recommend to others. We'll be back.

Very good property for vacation
