Nice property, convenient, nice area. Close to park, pool, and lake. Great fit for our group of ladies who come to LKSD every year. Enough beds for all, with extra. Great having laundry facilities and a dining room where we all could eat together at the same time. Kitchen is well equipped. Communication with hosts was easy, they were very responsive.

The place was lovely and we had ample space for our family of 5 with 3 teenagers. Great location near Cherry Park (across the street) & a short walk to both downtown, the pool & the lake pickleball courts. The hosts were kind and responsive and everything was as described. Very clean and cozy.

The house was perfect for our extended family's week at Lakeside! The living spaces were spacious and comfortable; we particularly appreciated the openness of the kitchen with breakfast table. The washer and dryer were so handy, too. The house was the perfect place for our family to make great memories together!

Overall very nice place and clean. Great quiet location. Internet was unreliable, but could have been supplier. Would rent again and if available would buy location.

It is a "charming cottage" and great place to stay.

Great house; wonderful location in Lakeside; great experience with the owners. Roomy and very functional layout for 4 adults and two preschoolers. Great kitchen, dining and living spaces. Enjoyed the patio and porch. Room to roam, play and have privacy. As others note, the pictures do not do it justice. Having Cherry Park across the street was wonderful. Short walks to lake or pool. The best Lakeside home we've stayed at! We hope to return to it.

Lakeside Love

I've been coming to Lakeside my entire life and this is one great property!... Very clean(xtra thx to your cleaner)!... Very spacious!.... Perfect for our family....Well loved, well-stocked & well cared for by the property owners...Lovely corner...Terrific location...Nothing like coffee & a book or visiting w/extended family on the screened-in porch yet quiet inside!...Plan to be back again next year...thank you so, so much for sharing your cottage 🙂

Lakeside Vacation 2023

We rented cotages 25 years ago when our children were little. Now they are grown and we have 2 grandchildren. We figured what better place to take a family vacation than Lakeside. We rented this cottage for a week. The cottage was very nice and clean. Bathrooms were very nice. We like to cook and found the kitchen spacious and well equipped. Location was perfect and quiet. We hope to rent same place again. Owners communicated and responded quickly. I highly recommend!

Pre-Memorial Day visit

House and owners were awesome. We really enjoyed our stay and the amenities that were with the house. it was a very comfortable and roomy home for our group. They only surprise we had was re-entry into the community the Friday evening of Memorial weekend. We were not aware of the lakeside Chataqua per person entrance fees into the community. (~$28.50 per person. per day). Fortunately the gate attendant did allow us a free pass for overnight so we could get back to the house and pack for our departure the next day.

Nice place

Everything worked well - checkin; checkout; very clean, Kitchen had just about every tool available. It’s a busy corner lot, better suited to families with young children. I could see decor and other household things being updated. Certainly hope the mattress in the master bedroom is next on the list. It’s not the worst mattress I’ve slept on at Lakeside but it’s on its way. The gas grill needs work. Starter needs to be replaced. Sorry for the complaints. It is a nice cottage and I loved not having to fuss with door keys. You are obviously updating as you go along. (That mattress has got to go soon.) Thanks for a lovely time at Lakeside.

Lovely home - great one-floor plan - only had one problem.

Those in our group this year were 2 grandparents, one daughter, two grandsons ages 2 and 1. The house is lovely and a great location. A one-floor plan with spacious living room, kitchen and bedrooms - all very good! What was not so good was the cleanliness we were met with. The kitchen floor needed scrubbed upon arrival, and the carpet in living and dining rooms was quite terrible - very spotted, stained, and overall had the children's little feet and hands very dirty within a short time. I realize the owners are likely not the ones who clean the house, but whoever does it for vrbo needs reprimanded. It was hard to relax and fully enjoy staying there with all the spots and large splatter marks throughout the carpeted areas. Plus even after we personally scrubbed the kitchen upon arrival, it truthfully still need a firmer mop and stronger detergent. It never did come fully clean. If the cleanliness issues were remedied, it is a delightful place to stay - great quiet location and a nice layout inside. The owners (who we had to contact for an internet problem) were very sweet and extremely responsive - I'm sure they are very good people.

Great Homebase

We felt right at home at this property. Cozy and clean with almost everything we needed. Personal touches that tell you this house is full of laughter and family love. We felt it too! There was ample space for everyone and the way that the bedrooms/bathrooms were separated allowed for perfect privacy. The house also sat in a great spot, near a park and close to the pool, lake and downtown area. We love relaxing poolside during the day and spending our evenings wandering down by the lake, "in town"! I will be recommending this home to others, and feel confident that they will enjoy it as much as we did :)

Awesome property

I’ve stayed in a few homes in t Lakeside and this is by far the best house we’ve stayed in. The house is deceptively spacious. A lot of properties in Lakeside feel cramped. This had a spacious kitchen, living room, and dining room. The bedrooms were nice and roomie and would be perfect to share a house with another family/in-laws (we stayed with just myself, my wife, and two children). Terri and Daniel were excellent hosts. Very communicative and quickly answered any questions we had. The house was clean and met all expectations. Would love to stay there again next year!
