We wanted a place with 2 bedrooms and this had it, but. It much more. Ceiling fans were icky, one outlet per room, bathroom downstairs with bedrooms upstairs. Lake is very close and pretty but hard to know if we were allowed to touch the water there due to private signs. No instructions from owner about anything. No way to lock the doors when we left. Tv channels were probably good but we didn’t use them. Definitely a high priced Vrbo for what we got.

I apologize for the lack of communication on our part. The front door locks and the back door has a touch pad. The touch pad code should've been given to you for locking things up. I have just found my reviews after another was pointed out to me. I just got everything set up with help and hope to improve everything from my feedback. I live next door and have talked to most of the tenants for feedback being new to everything........ 90% of my tenants are fishermen and that's why everything is set up to sleep 6 for the 6pack charters being run in the area. Thanks for the feedback, Henry
The owners were fast to answer us and the house had everything you need. The grill and fire pit were an awesome addition but we had a great time in a great space, not overly plushy but comfortable! We would stay again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Very disappointing property
The property is in a state of disrepair that boarders on dangerous. The porch up to the entrance is falling apart and the stair case inside (between the only bathroom and all the bedrooms) is far too steep and with a lack of railing that would be terrifying with small children in the house. While everything is superficially clean it’s obvious a deep clean is needed. The two ceiling fans are absolutely caked in dust and there’s black residue on the vents (which are falling off the wall). To top it off the tv is broken, half the outlets are non functional and there’s no wifi to make up for the lack of cell service. The advertised screened in porch is unusable because it’s being used as storage

Dear Allie, I apologize for the state that you feel the house is in. Even though the review was strikingly harsh, I don't deal with highfalutin people on a regular basis. Obviously most of my customers are fishermen. I do appreciate the critique of the property or I wouldn't have as good of an improvement process. By the way part of the clutter in the front porch was for your enjoyment but I don't picture u to be a corn hole competitor. Thanks again and future customers will appreciate the updates, Henry
