Welcome to Sunny Haven!

We have done our best to set this desert pool house up for enjoyment by families, close friends, and their canine companions.

LOCATION

For starters, our home has a great location... in a nice quiet neighborhood with beautiful mountain and sunset views. The home is an easy 20 - 25 minute drive to downtown Palm Springs and 35 minutes to Joshua Tree Visitor Center. Coachella, Morongo, and Agua Caliente are also nearby.

The home is in a nice part of up and coming Desert Hot Springs, a small city just north of Palm Springs. Familiar grocery and fast food restaurants are mere minutes away. There are plenty of family owned restaurants with good food for take out or dine in if you're OK with the typically humble ambiance. If you're looking for a fancy night out with fine dining, DHS is not the city for that. Head to the Palm Springs area. :)

If you plan to just stay put and chill, you'll love your time at Sunny Haven as the home comes with many amenities.

OUTDOOR AMENITIES

Sunny Haven offers a fabulous shaded back patio with plenty of seating and lounge furniture. The pool has built in bar stools and spray fountains. The hot tub has powerful jets. The BBQ has a propane side for those quick grill sessions, plus a charcoal side and side smoker for those chill BBQ days.

The front patio is walled in with a lovely porch swing and bistro set from which you can enjoy a beverage while taking in the scenery of the Coachella Valley.

The landscaping throughout has been thoughtfully designed to show the beauty of the desert, provide bits of shade, attract birds, and generally lend to the feelings of oasis.

PLEASE NOTE: The pool is heated at no additional cost between May 1st and September 30th. For pool heating outside of these dates, please contact us for pricing. The spa heating is always available at no cost.

INDOOR AMENITIES

The kitchen has been updated and provides all the tools you need to share delicious meals with your family and friends. The pantry should have a few common seasonings available to share.

The living space offers a leather sofa, two leather recliners and a rocker for your seating pleasure. For entertainment, the 65" SmartTV provides all the streaming services plus a sound bar to connect your bluetooth device if desired.

The kids room includes two arcade cabinets with a variety of games like Mrs Pac Man, Mortal Kombat, Galaxian, and 1944.

SLEEPING

The home includes three bedrooms. Two bedrooms have premium quality king size memory foam mattresses that cradle and support you while keeping you cool. The third bedroom has two twin size bunk beds... with twin size trundle beds underneath as well. We allow maximum 6 adults, or 8 total guests. Kids only in the top bunks please!

OTHER AMENITIES

You'll note of course that we provide free high speed internet, central A/C and heat, plenty of electrical outlets, washer and dryer, a 2 car garage, and both back and front yards are fully fenced for the safety of your pets.
