Our cabin sits right off the township road has a beautiful yard for campfires and enjoying nature. Our cabin has a fully stocked kitchen open dining and living room. One big bedroom with king size bedand adjoining bathroom with shower. Living room couch has a queen size pullout bed. Has an amazing backyard where you can watch the deer and turkey strut. Covered front porch to enjoy the beauty of nature and relax. Close to day trips including Cooks Forest, Bilger’s Rocks, Parker Dam State Park, Curwensville Lake and Elk sightseeing. Will do short term rentals also

Quick overnight stay

Had a comfortable and cozy overnight at the House of Blues Cabin at the end of November. Melissa was proactive and helpful throughout booking and check-in. The property was as described and all we needed for a night. Our pup loved running around the yard! Thank you Melissa for accommodating us at the last minute :)

Great Semi Off Grid Cabin

My wife and I had a great stay at House of Blues Cabin. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped also. There is no cable TV or wifi (it does have an OTA TV antenna with some local stations and an FM radio) but we just used our phone hotspots with a Roku stick and were able to stream TV just fine. It is located in a very quiet peaceful location outside of Curwensville and we were able to watch deer feed in the backyard. We would definitely stay there again when we are in the area.

The prefect middle of nowhere.

The past week we prepare our family’s property in Rockton Pa for our wedding. We wanted a private place to stay close to the soon to be venue, but far from the family and friends that were invading our spaces. The House of Blues couldn’t have been more prefect. This little blue cabin in the middle of the mountains provided us with a comfortable place to stay. It allowed us to disconnect from the rest of the stress we had from setting up a wedding. The host was amazing. The AC was on when we arrived on one of the hottest day the area has seen in years. It provided space for the groom and groomsmen to get ready for the wedding. Our dog Shamus was so happy there he didn’t want to leave. We made memories we will never forget and hope to stay again in the near and far future.

Thanksgiving Stay

We had to come into the area unexpectedly and Melissa was a great host. She left a few items to help us host an unexpected Thanksgiving for family. The house was cozy, the surrounding property was nice and we were able to see plentiful deer throughout our stay. I would recommend this place to anyone!!!

Home away from Home

We absolutely loved our stay in this cabin! Melissa and Mark were very generous and kind hosts that wanted to make sure our stay was the best it could be! The cabin was nice and secluded and had beautiful property surrounding it. Highly recommend!

Very nice and clean. Had everything for your stay just bring food and clothes. Went and saw Elks. Roomy and big yard. We will go back!!

Nice and relaxing

We didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time here since we were sightseeing so much and gone all day but what we did get to enjoy was really nice and relaxing. Definitely will stay here again if given the chance! Saw many deer and wildlife!

'Twas a deer time at the Cabin

The location was peaceful, with deer grazing often in the 3/4 acre surrounding open clearing. The house was ready for me and my dog. Everything was functional and clean. Excellent climate control in the house. I enjoyed using the small Weber grill supplied and the adjacent firepit.

AC issue dealt with quickly did not have the bbq, but all in all its what we were looking for a place in the woods off dirt road. Wifi and tv not what we were there for just peace and quiet. Thank you

Nice private cabin

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The cabin was spotless and super private. Nice big yard for my dogs to enjoy. Felt very secluded but not far from stores if you need. Host was very responsive. Would definitely love to stay again!
