The Painted Pony Cottage at Leg Up Stables is located on a 300 acre horse farm in the heart of the beautiful Genesee Valley. The cottage offers charming amenities to make your equine inspired stay truly unique including a tack room and a remodeled kitchen. The cottage is perfect for those wishing to travel with their horses or those interested in being immersed in a horse's experience. Our horse farm provides riding lessons all year long. We have facilities to ride inside and outside in all weather conditions. Ask about a guided tour of Leg Up Stables which is home to nearly 80 horses.

The Cottage:
The Painted Pony Cottage at Leg Up Stables is a one-bedroom home that has recently been remodeled and offers a private cozy and comfortable place to stay. The cottage includes a full eat-in kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds. An air mattress is available for additional sleeping arrangements in the living room. The Cottage has parking for two cars and a horse trailer. We have a fire pit in out expansive lawn and lots of areas to run around.

Very nice cottage! Great location and very quiet. It was neat watching the horses and being able to pet them. It really had everything we needed, and was pet friendly which was key for us. Looking forward to coming back next year!!

We had a great stay at the Painted Pony Cottage. We enjoyed walking the property and visiting all of the beautiful parks in the area. Letchworth State Park is a must see. Wegmans and Walmart were a short distance away making it an easy drive to pick up any items needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Our family of four our dog stayed here and loved it. Accurate description, comfortable beds, hospitable hosts, and beautiful views. It was so fun being able to wake up and explore / meet the horses. Reasonably priced compared to local hotels and made it feel like a home for the week. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This quaint small cottage was an excellent choice for our trip. They are very accommodating and pet friendly. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Note this is a stable/equestrian facility, which is great if you love horses and animals. They offer riding lessons as well!Great spot for a trip to the area.

Cleanliness, quiet and peaceful surroundings, host was great. She happened to be on the property when we arrived and came to the house to make sure we got in ok as we had arrived after dark. Would love to stay here again with time to enjoy the farm.

If you have an affinity for horses this is your place. Beautiful farm land for walking and seeing the horses up close. Quiet surroundings but only minutes from town. Kim and her daughter are great hosts. We’d book again upon a return.

The Painted Pony cottage was perfect for our getaway to see the Bills one last time at Highmark!! The property is gorgeous and our pups loved walking around with us.The price point was perfect for a stay that didn't break the bank an was set in gorgeous surroundings.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing getaway with our 2 dogs. It was fun to explore the farm and meet the horses up close and personal. Letchworth State Park is also a great place to visit during the stay.

It is a wonderful, peaceful place to stay. Our dogs are very much at home with large areas to explore. The horses and the visitors are always friendly. The owners are welcoming and gladly provide insights into the area. We have visited there many times and will be back.

Cozy cottage

We had a great stay here (adults, kids, and dogs). Very cozy, spacious, awesome location, and dog-friendly! Kitchen was well appointed, living room was cute and cozy, and the bedroom was comfortable. Very dog-friendly. Awesome to be so close to the farm and horses.
