Beautiful Log Home on Lake Michigan - Only 15 minutes from Escanaba

The “Great Lake Lodge” is a custom built LOG CABIN! This handcrafted log home sits on the shore of Lake Michigan, just a 15 minute drive to Escanaba. Huge red and white pine logs make up the structure of the home, making the lodge warm, strong, unique and timeless. The lodge lets you experience that rustic camp feeling without sacrificing modern amenities. The large yard gives your family ample room for outdoor play, and relaxation. A large outdoor living space (Deck) for having your morning coffee watching the sun rise directly in front of you, and a firepit for evening campfire and smore making. For our ATV guests, we are just 400 feet from the trail system.

The Lodge is very clean and well kept, with all new linens and furniture throughout. We pay very close attention to every detail when cleaning and sanitizing our home in preparation for our guests.

The Lodge is equipped with Wi-Fi, and a Smart T.V. with Hulu Live and movies. Washer and dryer, dishwasher and gas grill are provided for your convenience. Kayaks are available for rent, please send your inquiry for pricing and availability.

Pets are considered, please inquire first. We will send you our pet policy and if you are able to meet the requirements of our pet policy we will allow 1 pet at our home. A small pet fee is required by our cleaning service if you are bringing a pet.

We know this will be a special place for your family as it has been for ours. The "Great Lake Lodge" has created many memories for our family, and we hope it will for yours as well.

Spring break getaway

The lodge was warm and cozy while the snow and rain blew off the lake. We loved playing ping pong and arcade games. It was easy to hook up Spotify to the Roku so we could listen to music while playing games. The kids didn’t want to leave.

Beautiful log cabin on the lake

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful log cabin. It was exceptionally clean, well-equipped and decorated. The view was stunning, and the owner was very responsive. We highly recommend staying here for a U.P. Retreat.

Absolutely amazing

House and location are absolutely amazing. We had an amazing time and being able to buy firewood right on site was awsome. Very quite area. Be aware that this house is close to time zone chamge so your phone will sometimes change back an hour. Also there is a shower in the upstairs bath making it so there are 2 showers which is amazing when having 2 couples getting ready at the same time for a day of fun u.p. adventure. The only thing we didn’t like is that we had to leave and come back home to work.
