Nice and clean place to stay clost to Jasper and Harrison and there is a wonderful swim hole about 10 min away called pruitt landing which was so much fun!
The chalet was absolutely amazing!! It was perfect for my family and we all enjoyed it! Our host, Todd, was very helpful and so nice! Check in and out instruction were laid out so simply and everything was so neat and cozy here! Definitely a place we will come back to and also recommended to others!!!
We enjoyed our stay! House was clean and decorated so nice. We loved driving around to look at the scenery and the river was beautiful.
Thank you for a wonderful time.
We enjoyed our time at the property. The chalet is very well maintained and had everything we needed. The location is perfect as it is just down the road from Jasper and Harrison. We hope to visit again in the future!
Enjoyed our stay. Host was responsive to our needs. It was a little confusing trying to get there from Waze, but was quickly clarified with the instructions from the host. Very clean & quiet
The chaperones and teachers for our club trip stayed at the cabin for a long weekend, and our entire group climbed nearby at Horseshoe Canyon. The cabin was wonderful and met all our needs for the weekend. The check in and check out process were both easy. It’s a beautiful location as well.
Perfect home for our little getaway! Everything we needed to relax and enjoy some much needed downtime.
Had way more space than expected! Never felt like we were squished together.
Would definitely stay here again.
The house is very nice. It is a lovely quiet neighborhood. We all had a fantastic time hiking, eating , and playing games together. We are not able to get together very often so it was really nice.
I would recomend this house and hope we can return in the near future.
Such a beautiful, cozy place to stay. It was perfect for the five of us and the three children had their own place upstairs. Took a short thirty minute drive to see the twin falls and it was absolutely beautiful. We were in Harrison for a football tournament and it was perfect place to stay. The owner, Todd was such a great person and was so helpful. I highly recommend this property for a place to stay. The scenery is absolutely gorgeous.
Group of friends getting together for a weekend of hiking. Hiked the goat bluff trail Saturday and Hemmed-in hollow falls Sunday. The challet what fantastic and suited our needs perfectly. Will definitely come back in the future.
The weather did not cooperate with regard to outdoor activities, but the property was nice and comfortable for cooking warm meals and enjoying NCAA Tourney.
The inside was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very easy to use and bathroom and shower were clean. Not a lot of water pressure but you could get clean just the same. Better have sketer protection if you are going to sit outside. The only issue we had was wanting to use the fire pit . It was covered in leaves and looked very snaky and looked to be tick infested. We contacted the owner but nothing was done about it but other than that it was a nice quiet place to be
Our ONLY concern was that the 2nd bathroom was just a bathtub, no shower. For a group of 65+ year old guy buddies on a motorcycle trip, this wasn’t ideal. And it wasn’t made clear in property description. Would be easy enough to put in a shower.
Anyway, that is not a big deal and we otherwise highly recommend the property.

I’m sorry you misread the bathroom descriptions. The listing does state bathroom two only has a tub. This is due to the structure of the A frame. I am glad to hear you had a great time. Thanks for staying with us.
Great place. Not too far to where we were wanting to hike and fish

About the host
Hosted by Todd Parker
Hello! My name is Todd Parker and I am the owner and host of Chalet at the Falls. I was born and raised here and consider myself blessed to still call this my home. I love everything about Newton County and the surrounding area-the people, the rich heritage and traditions, the outdoor activities, and of course, the scenery! I live just minutes from the Chalet in Jasper. I work fulltime as a school administrator during the day and I also work part- time as an Emergency Medical Dispatcher for the local ambulance service. In fall 2020 I decided to purchase this unique home and remodel it for a nightly rental so others could come and enjoy the area I love so much. The rest is history in the making and you are now a part of it! Thank you for choosing this as your place to stay for your Ozark Mountain vacation! I hope you enjoy every minute of your time here in God’s Country and that you will come visit again soon!
