A lovely and comfortable place to stay right next door to the charming General Store! We loved the location. Our host was immediately responsive saying we are completely satisfied!
The apartment was lovely, the artwork/photos a delight. The owners’ prepared all the amenities for our comfort. The kitchen was well equipped, both bathroom & kitchen included items (i.e. spices, lotions, shampoo) not expected, the mattresses were both comfortable and the patio was pleasant with cushions & string lights. The General Store next door was great for a hot latte & bene at 7:30AM, sandwiches, wine/beer, books & munchies. All together a 10 I will be happy to recommend to anyone wanting a central “base” for exploring the Eastern Shore!
This was the perfect place for a get away! The owner is super nice and has put in great effort to ensure the stay feels welcoming. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway to this small town and exploring more of the eastern shore.
This home was perfect. Well stocked kitchenware, comfortable couch and bed, spacious and super cute. Location was perfect, the general store right next door has lovely breakfast sandwiches and coffee to go. We really enjoyed our short stay here!
Love Wachapreague and this place was in the heart of this quiet little town.We were there for working on our nearby property, but had some fun as well.
This stay was amazing, the property was clean, the host was so helpful and accommodating to our request. I would 100% encourage you to stay here for your next trip.
We had a wonderful stay and had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable place, and roomy. Met the home owner, Alan. He is very nice and personable. We will be back.
Allen’s place is terrific! Clean, well decorated, with a kitchen with all the utensils, pots, pans, and dishes that you need. The apartment is right next to the General Store which serves breakfast and lunch and seems to be a gathering place for locals. There is also a very nice patio with a table and chairs. We have stayed there before and will be back again!
The apartment was very clean and also spacious. The location is great because it is right in the center of this quiet town. We walked to the Island House restaurant and rode the provided bikes around this charming town. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
We stayed 3 days 2 night. The town was peaceful and picturesque. The restaurant down the street was top notch. Our host is absolutely hands down the BEST!!! We will be returning!!!
I love the historic town with shops, restaurants and others just a short distance away. It suits me with the quiet neighborhood, passers by will stop and say hello or nod when your out on the patio. The apartment is perfect for a solo or duo stay!
The house was immaculate. It had everything we needed to have a great stay. The owners are great to deal with and were immediately available if we needed anything. We can’t wait to visit again!!!
We would definitely stay at 11 Main again. The place was clean, roomy, well-equipped, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The best restaurant we found on our trip is barely a block away, The Island House Restaurant. We highly recommend 11 Main.
We loved the charming old store, beautifully restored to a large living area, bedroom with a comfortable bed, and large bathroom. Nice kitchen with plenty of dish and silverware and pots/pans. The location is also great, just a short walk to the shore, and the Island House Restaurant. We would stay here again.
Be sure to check out General Store next door for supplies, coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Nice place for entertaining family and friends. The Island House is a great restaurant within walking distance. Enjoyed the patio with edison light ambiance.
Great stay, would use again.
