Beautiful view
Beautiful view but sadly that's all that suited us. Train station nearby which was handy but you could hear the trains. The location seemed idyllic initially but soon realised we had to get into the car for facilities. No local shops, bars or restaurants. On the face of it the villa seemed perfect but it was very poorly equipped. Very basic crockery and pans. Sleeps 8 but only 6 mugs, luck there was only 4 of us staying. 4 Double bedrooms but one was too small to be a double. Cleanliness - fridge hadn't been cleaned thoroughly as there was items left in it, very dusty under all of the beds. No tea towels, dishcloths, placemats or bath mats, however, I did inform the owner and he got some bath mats and place mats to us later that day. No towels or linen provided as part of the cost which is not something we are use to. Owner did provide limited towels and sheets free of charge when I questioned this, but they were inadequate and of very poor quality. Pool not heated so very limited use! Check in and departure check was very regimented and un welcoming, which again, we are not use to. Overall, not welcoming or homely. Wouldn't stay again.
